Vagabond: Thanks for linking! We actually interviewed Swen Vincke for our podcast, which will be going up sometime tomorrow evening. He answers some questions about Divinity 2... and I totally convince him to release Divine Divinity on GOG!

deoren: Listening now. Great interview with Swen Vincke. You guys were polite and very firm with your questions. It was also really cool of you guys to suggest GOG as a distribution option.
Here's hoping!
Edit:
Hey GOG, Swen said he is going to get in contact with you guys about the remastered Divine Divinity! I'd take that as an invitation to contact him if you don't hear from him soon. :D

I let Chris do all the talking on it, seeing as how he's a big Divine Divinity fan, and because I never played it. Swen is really cool too. Pre-podcast we were just chatting and stuff. Very down-to-Earth guy.
Oh sweet god please release Divine Divinity on GOG... yes there in the $5 bargain bin but screw that id rather wait and buy it on GOG...
This is the best news Ive heard all month! Possible DD release in the future and DD2 that looks that good?! hell yes...

Now do you guys understand why I always say "I'm Deaf" endlessly.
ANYWAY. I'm Deaf. I can't hear. So.... Transcribe?
I am jonesing for some DD now... and i cant find my disk... dammit... why did you have to post that...

Hopefully Vagabond convinced Swen Vincke to bring it over to GOG sometime soon. I've never played it myself but from what I keep hearing about it I need to play this game.
Yeah I'd rather like to give DivDiv another go, it was one of those games like Arcanum where I only borrowed it off a mate for a week and never really got to grips with it

The interview itself was roughly 30 minutes, so that's quite a bit to transcribe. :|

$$$
$$$?
As in, you want me to pay you to transcribe, or you're telling him to think of a broader audience and thus more revenue or what?
If he's offering, I am raising money for the "Buy Alias Operation Flashpoint 2" appeal
Someone call for a BBQ? but seriously i cant wait im going to the Bargain Bin to snag DD today... im way to excited to wait :P
See the attachment? its still decently impressive with its graphics compared to the likes of Lionheart/Sacred/blade & sword. Though nothing will ever topple D2 in my book. You just cant improve perfection.
Oh YEAH, did anyone ever play Blade & Sword? Only game i ever placed near to the holy D2's spot on my wall-o-awesome. If GOG could get Blade & Sword id pay $20 for it. Lost my copy years ago during a move :(

DD was really good.
I hope DD: Remastered is coming to GOG -- that'd be fantastic.
Though, I'm glad it's coming at least to Stardock's Impulse.
