Frictional Games, creators of Penumbra, are at it again with a new horror title. The site describes an adventure through a castle, and it has this weird message under the heading "What hides between shadow and light?". I think it's code. I suck at this sort of thing. At the bottom, there's a spot for entering something with a submit button. You can find it at www.nextfrictionalgame.com. I suck at these, so here it is, if anyone's willing to take a stab at it.

I'm assuming the first part of it is Greek or Latin, but I have no idea what is going on throughout the rest of it. Any takers?

The first part is no language at all. It looks like a simple letter cipher. Could be anagrams as well.
[EDIT] It's anagrams. Decoding...

I guess so. The only language I'm familiar with, other than English, is Spanish.
Right, first part:
"These hole digging critters have a population that increase rapidly. There must be some way to track this development and make the infestation come to an end."
"? hole digging ? have a ? that ?. There must be some way to track this development and make the ? come to an end."
Can't get all the words. It's quite late in Poland and I'm tired. But that's a start.
EDIT: Riiiight... I'm too late. Wishbone was faster, and got it all :)

Well, I'm stumped as to the rest. I tried a simple letter replacement for the number sequence, but it didn't do me any good. For what it's worth, this is the result of replacing letters for the numbers: cigdhiegkffmghfifkhm
I just watched the teaser on the site, and if you watch closely when the name UNKNOWN pops up, the word Fibonacci flashes.
Fibonacci sequence, maybe?

It's a good bet, but the number sequence is not a Fibonacci one. Still, you most likely have to use the Fibonacci sequence for the decoding.

Another clue I found. If you type anything in and press enter on the box, and click on the source code of the page, some words are nestled in there:
of Pisa
The primary cause

Don't know about "The primary cause", but Fibonacci's real name was Leonardo of Pisa.
[EDIT] Damn... I need Excel to work on this properly, but I don't have it at home. Also, I should really get to bed, and undoubtedly, someone will have already cracked this in the morning :-(

Could I just add that "between the shadow and the light" is surely Penumbra?
Glad you guys sorted the anagrams.. no good at those! The numbers are giving me a headache though.
Holy crap, clues are everywhere! Check out the names of the images;

I put in the word "Aurora" and got this message...
The moon casts a dark shadow upon the earth
Uh... No, I better not make another attempt until the light embraces me
I was thinking...could some of this have anything to do with coding?
Silently evil emerged darkness= S.E.E.D. "Seed" is a term used by coders.
Also, "hole digging creatures" that populate quickly may refer to bugs of the software type. Any PC gamer will tell you that after a product is released, there are still a few bugs found by users that developers solve with patches.
Something tells me this is a clever way of saying "We're working on it, but these ****ing bugs are hard to destroy!"
That still doesn't answer the rest of it, though...

That's one of the two possible "You guessed wrong" messages.
