Yeah, just shows in how much of a hurry we are to play the game.

I'm sure it's decent, so that's why I'll be willing to part with 3$-5$ in a couple of years to play it and I'm sure I'll find it's good. Nothing I'll want to fork 30$ or not wait a few years over, but good production quality.

It will be just like the Original Halo (haven't played the second or third installments yet... I might want to play those before I play the fourth... hopefully, they'll release the titles on GOG in order) with a couple of improvements.

Call it a vague, very tempered, interest.

One other thing I found really irritating in H2 was the really dark places.. I mean come on, this is Halo 2, not Doom 3. Although part of that might have been the TV I was playing on, but it shouldn't have had THAT much effect.

One thing that made me quite like Halo 1 was the modding. :-) I used to spend ages changing stuff like that, like making Scorpion Pistols, and making the flood multiply from each other. Lol, and they wonder why games with no modding support don't last very long.

Mine came in the mail to day, I will probably attempt to hook up my monitor to my xbox to try give it even a bit of a whirl. I never really got into Halo till a bunch of mates were clamoring for me to join them in a game. I am not really hooked, but I do enjoy RvB and I own all 4 core games. It is fun when you have some friends to co-op with actually. I hope 4 is entertaining it cost me an arm and a leg for it.

I really enjoyed Halo 2's single player campaign. Its only flaw is that it's in Halo 2. ;) The regenerating health, gimmicky dual wield system (there's no strategy to it), hyper focus on vehicles + hijacking, broken melee balance, and large drop in realism were disappointing.

I still love Halo 2 though. This game is also in the running for having the most fun bugs (super bounces and sword flying immediately come to mind).

Question, is the game both discs or is one bonus stuff? I wanted to know so if it's both I'll install both discs to my Xbox when I do.

I would probably check it out if it was for the PC, preferably drm-free, but I'll tolerate Steam to check it out. I don't have an xbox, so I'm not even sure what Halo is all about beyond being a super popular scifi fps.

I went to a local store today and picked it up. I still haven't played it, i'll try it soon.

I think it's both discs. It just says "disc 1" and "disc 2" on the DVD, if there was a bonus disc i guess it would be labeled as a bonus disc.

Got it and its great and I like how story focuses more on Cortana and gives Chief some personality

Yeah, I kind of figured after, but some games they don't label unfortunately. Oh well, it's no big deal. I assume the digital bonus' are when you boot the game up, I haven't actually played it yet, just installed. I plugged it into my PC monitor and forgot it has no speakers so I have no sound. :(

I just played the campaign for a few hours, what an amazing game. I'm very impressed. Like Soviet said, Chief and Cortana hame some personality. Also the story-telling is more mature.

The graphics are amazing, it's easily the most beautiful game on the Xbox 360, and maybe on any console. I'm amazed at how far they managed to push a 7 years old hardware. It's better than most PC games around.

It's probably the best game i have played this year.

I still haven't tried the multiplayer mode, though.
