Part of what makes gaming so fun to me now is that I'm able to share my gaming experiences through online videos. I know at least one other user here who does this as well, but I was wondering if this is a fairly common thing or just a select few of us actually do it. If you do, what sort of videos do you make?

As for what I do: game reviews (both old and new games), opinion videos, and Let's Plays mostly. Occasionally I'll post a gameplay video, guide/tutorial, or other random stuff too.

I have 3 videos, and every once in a while think about making some more. I have a video of the intro to Daughter of Serpents, some gameplay from the Vampire Slayer mod for Half-Life, and a video of my dwarves blowing themselves up in Myth III.

As for what games... pretty much anything. However, I don't play sports or racing games, nor am I an MMO fan. Currently, it's mostly RPG's, adventure games, and shooters, though I've also done a few strategy game videos as well. Right now I'm working on Let's Plays of Mass Effect and Beneath a Steel Sky.

Cool thanks, lots of vids! I'll look through them sometime soon (work fodder is always good!) - definitely see some games I have there and/or are interested in. Neat too. I loved Heroes 2, but love HoMM3 even more, alas never really went back after I tried it!

I hope you enjoy them. Nice little collection there. Looked at a few of the AitD videos... yay for subtitles. Anyway, I run into the busy problem with my Let's Plays as well. I tend to just do them in large chunks as a result. You might want to try doing that if you haven't already.

I've done a few videos. I have them on my Xfire account. The oldest ones aren't as good of a quality I'd like, but the most recent ones are.

Well, I did a Silent Hill 2 LP. Still haven't finished editing the videos, so no links, yet.
It'll be my first LP uploaded to the internet. Still haven't decided if I'll record the commentaries in English, or Brazilian Portuguese (my native language).

It was fun making the videos. : P
My next target will be Silent Hill 3, probably.

Xfire's pretty finicky in my experience. It took a lot to get the quality videos out of it. Hence why I don't use it anymore (well... that and that most of my friends just quit using it). I'll take a look at those.

You can always do English subtitles with Portuguese voiceovers. It'll be more work, though. I wish you luck with that regardless. It's generally most entertaining to watch someone doing a LP of a horror game live (commentary as he/she plays). That way we can roll around laughing our arses off at stuff like this: (link)

I used to do some reviews. My Grim Fandango one got quite a bit of attention despite being quite terrible (the review of it I mean not the game).
