Do you really need to create a thread for every problem you have with Steam?

This isn't a Steam support forum. Try Google or Steam forums instead.

Wow totallly creepy how you took the time to dig up all of my old threads.

Either way, I shall continue to post and you shall continue to whine...or maybe just catch on to what the other (wiser) users do nowadays when they don't apporve - Stay out of the thread all together.

And the genius mods running Steams' help boards have banned me so I have to seek Steam tech help elsewhere.

Also, Steam is back down again.

Fix (temporary at least)

Steam's recent update is 'sticking' but the files needed have already been downloaded to your PC (unless you just did some recent hard core file dumping and scrubbing)

1.Disconnect Internet

2.Run Steam and wait for it to realize there is no Internet

3.When it asks if you want to restart in Offline mode say 'Yes.'

4.Allow Steam to update itself

5.Turn your internet back on

6.Place Steam back into Online mode

Creepy to spend 3 minutes browsing the forum? Try again.

Misplacing your anger toward me doesn't change the fact of what I presented. Your hostility only shows a lack of maturity.

I wonder why... did you spam their forums, too, and angrily call the mods whiners when they asked you to stop creating so many repetitive, useless threads?

I had an issue with a game.

Figured it might have something to do with 'empty' folders that Steam was writing to the Temp directory during each crash.

Asked what those folders were three times over a period of a week with no response.

Finally exclaimed that the game works perfectly using a NoCD fix to circumvent Steam.

I was bureaucratically shut up using the excuse that I was promoting piracy.

So now here we are again where a few little Cry Boy Steamy fans have a gruff because someone is requesting help in other game forums inevitabley inhabited by others who use Steam as well.

If you don't approve of someone's thread, you can either deal with it and STFU or keep pissing in the threads like a Sissy Nazi constantly bumping those threads that are hurtin' your delicate feelings.

When is Steam going to be *permanently* down

Crosmando: When is Steam going to be *permanently* down
Not until after it has set up concentration camps everywhere and turned everyone not using the service into a deck of playing cards apparently. =L
Don't scare me like this! its just maintenance,, If Steam ever did come down from hostile action, then Aliens would have to invade Earth since their first option to slowly take over the planet by stealth had failed!!!
