I've been watching this thing for a while on the dev team's Kickstarter page (though I didn't back) and personally think it looks amazing. They've mentioned that they have multiple distribution channels lined up but no mention of anything specific other than the Humble Store.

Don't get me wrong, a Humble Store release is awesome, but man... it'd be nice to know if they have something lined up with GOG. Oh well.

This caught my eye when they were kickstarting it, but I didn't know it was due out so soon. I'm not totally convinced, but it reminds me of Super GnG, and Super GnG was pretty kickass.

Good or bad, though, I am glad this is being made. There are tons of indie platformers out there, but it seems like the hardcore action platformers are the minority, compared to all the mopy adventure-sidescrollers and physics puzzle games.

Yeah, I've discovered that a few months ago, it looks great.
I am still imagining 'Vulgar' the Viking, swearing each time he hits something :)

The animations are hardly 'awesome'...
It looks fun though, although there have been a ton of of these semi-retro platformers the past couple of years so they don't really get me excited anymore.

Okay... okay... I guess you guys are right. I guess I'm perceiving them as "awesome" because the game itself, I think, looks pretty awesome.

Yup, looking spiffy and challenging. Here's hoping the combat system is at least as fun as it looks.
