Anyone think Undertaker will show up tonight? You think he's gonna skip out of Wrestlemania this year? Should he even bother coming back at all?

Side note: Love that Triple H will grace us at the big one this year

I'm mixed. I grew up with Taker but his age is starting to show. Every year I hope that Wrestmania will be his last so they don't screw with the record and he doesn't go out looking like an invalid ie Andre or Bret when they last wrestled.

I agree. IMO, I think they should just let him fade away with his record intact. I mean, why should they even try to make it breakable now? Just let the legend of the Undertaker be that, a legend.

I think he will show up. He worked a house show a couple weeks ago I think, which I assume is a partial warm-up to see how he will do for mania. I've heard he will go against CM Punk, who could take most of the big bumps and work around Taker's age for a match imo.

Yeah, that's what i heard as well, But like Tiny said, I'm just afraid they make him out to be some kinda decrepit buffoon like they normally make all their Legends sooner or later....Hope not

I actually thought he was gonna come out last week when Punk was out there talking about how much he was God out in the middle of the ring...lol

I can see Taker coming out to do a promo and being interrupted by Punk doing the same stuff this week to demand a match. Problem is, outside of Lesnar coming down to F5 Taker in a No DQ match, I don't see how Punk could look like a credible threat against the Undertaker.

Also I don't think he will let the company make him look like a buffoon. He has been there long enough he would say no to anything the company wanted to do that would make him look like an idiot. I also think he will try for one more Wrestlemania next year and go into the Hall of Fame at the same time. I just hope he doesn't lose his last match, especially to Cena.
To hell with all of this, I want to see Duggan and Flair! Everyone else can stay in the locker room.
rip Paul Bearer who passed away today :( so close to wrestlemania had some good time watching him and undertaker old school .....sigh
2 things worth mentioning:

1. TNA Lockdown PPV - Bully Ray heel turn. Very well done, a bit predictable but still very well done. Actually, forget about that because Facebook and Twitter felt the need to deleting and censoring the stuff that is written about him - BIGGEST HEEL TURN since Hogan's joining of NWO. Can't remember anyone getting so much heat for a long time.

2. Diamond Dallas Page put up a flexible Indiegogo campaign for Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall, trying to help him get back to his feet. No matter what you may think about him / this campaign / pledging, it's worth watching especially the video under Gallery.
WWE's tribute to Paul Bearer yesterday was great. The show both began and ended with the Undertaker paying homage to his late manager (Kane, too, at the end), as well as furthering Taker-Punk at Wrestlemania with Punk's interruptions. Great video package at the start, as well as several clips of Bearer, from his introduction to his (and Taker's) Wrestlemania XX return. If you didn't watch last night, I know there are clips of it on YouTube uploaded by WWE themselves.

Also, it's great to see what DDP is helping to do with Scott Hall, and if Jake Roberts is any indication, I hope they can get The Bad Guy clean and back into shape!
Was Wrestlemania a super duper high quality match fest? No, not really. But it was really fun to watch, and I can't say I regret the 70 dollars I spent.

INVASION ATTACK was the better show though.
Punk and Taker stole the show for me.

A few of the others were pretty decent, though: Fandango/Jericho was pretty neat, Hell No vs Ziggler & Big E had its moments, Triple H/Lesnar was brutal (although, I think, lacking in the blood department), and Swagger/Del Rio wasn't all that bad.

The other matches were pretty forgettable, and I'm not happy they bumped Tons of Funk w/The Funkadactyls vs Rhodes Scholars w/The Bellas.

Ryback vs Henry shouldn't have happened.
Hunter vs. Brock is going to be one of those matches you either really liked or you didn't get. It was deliberately slow paced and brutal, not "Wrestlemania style" at all.

I've seen some differing opinions about it. I personally really enjoyed it.

The spot of the match was the sit-up during the Anaconda Vice. *That* was Punk's Wrestlemania moment. Good solid 4/5 star match.
I used to play a wrestling game I had for Gamecube with my brother and sisters a lot. Wrestling games are fun, not really into the real-life sport.
