BranjoHello: It depends if you want to hang out with Serbians or will you be satisfied with someone that isn't a Serb but is born & bred in Serbia. ;)

I'm always open to new friendships, so feel free to contact me on PM.

btw. Don't know what you're talking about with White Fortress. If you're talking about Belgrade (Beograd) that would be translated as White City. There is White Church (Bele Crkva) which borders Romania.
I was told it means White Fortress. :-)
Sorry for confusion!

Gandos: If you plan to move there, I have two pieces of advice for you: don't be a vegetarian and don't be a member of the LGBT movement. I don't say the former because people hate vegetarians or anything, but because meat is a significant part of Serb diet. If you don't eat meat, life in Serbia is going to be very difficult for you. As for the latter...well, homophobia is very widespread in Serbia and members of the LGBT movement are frequently subject to violence by football hooligans. Actually, you should probably avoid those guys no matter who you are, as they're always looking for a fight.

Regardless, best of luck to you and I hope you'll enjoy yourself there. Adun Toridas! ;)
I am vegetarian, but I think it is possible to live with a vegetarian diet in Serbia. There are many stores (like a small one on every corner) that sell you basic food and Politika.

And I'm not Lesbian either, although I love Serbian women. :-)

XYCat: Serbians are too busy making serbian films
I take it you saw "A Serbian Film" too? If that movie was an Serbian anti-tourist attraction then it did a great job.
