Big Rigs is actually worth playing just for the "infinite speed in reverse" bug. Driving over mountaintops at relativistic speeds is something every gamer should be able to experience.

They hinted that the game was not in Captain Planet, so I guess it was a Lost Planet.

No the hint was "the protagonist of this game NEVER guest stared in Captian Planet" for you see in Captain planet there was a villian named "Duke Nukem" which caused Appoge to change the name of Duke Nukem by one letter to avoid getting in trouble with Ted Turner who you really didn't want to tick off back in the 90's
