I'm going to buy an adapter to connect wirelessly to my router. Anyone have any good recommendations, for good range coverage?
never use Linksys wireless products, even in my CCNA class my teachers both said never touch Linksys. I wasted $150 on that company, both the adapters and the routers are useless.
The last adapter I bought was a Netgear Wireless-G USB adapter model number WG111. Can work in WIn7, XP, and I use it on my Ubuntu PC in my room. No trouble, gets a little hot when torrenting though, and I mean hot to the touch.

I got a Linksys Wireless-G 2.4GHZ router for like 2-3 years, its the only one I've ever bought and it still works pretty well, range is more or less 40-50 feet tho

My brother has same one if you're using the USB version of the adapter. It works but gets mediocre ~16mbps connection through 2 walls, whereas my Netgear gets a 54mbps connection through 3 walls. My experience though, not saying the Linksys don't work for anyone else.

Probably mines works that well since I only got 1mbps... ><
Personally I never use anything but linksys, I've had 3 in total, one wireless router/access point and 2 router/modem. I've only had one casualty and that was due to an accident. Other than the rather erattic wireless signal from my newer router/modem, they've been good solid working machines.
I flashed the AP with DDWRT just for fun and its running along beautifully
avoid belkin, I've had two adapters, and they've all crapped out after a couple of months

Whew. I nearly bought a Belkin just now. I decided to just go along with my gut feeling and buy an Aztech, so thanks anyway all!
Just a simple advice: if you spend less, you'll get the shit you deserve :-P

Partially true, but I've spent a lot before and ended up with shit as well. I think good research comes first, before determining if price is a viable measure of quality.
