Besides obvious ones like Temple Run, Angry Birds and Minecraft.
I'm a big fan of Doodle Jump.

They just came out with a holiday themed version.
Well, nevermind then....posted a link to a current post with the exact same discussion and nobody bothers.

This is a dumb question, but if I get an Android tablet like Nexus 7, will Minecraft Pocket let me do most of the things the PC version does? How exactly is it different?

It's creative mode only as far as I know.
Rebuild is a nice zombie sim.

Escape The Ape ^^
Right now, I'm playing Inortia 3 and 4, which are pretty good RPGs if you're into that. Also, I like Third Blade, which is more of action game.
I would strongly recommend the Rayman game...

I recently aquired a Sony-Ericson Xperia Play so I also have the PSOne Library of games at my disposal ^^.
Dodonpachi Resurrection and ESP Galuda 2 are pretty good. But you may not like them if you're not into shmups.

Much less the Xbox Version nevermind the Pv version:
Only mobs are zomies, cows and sheep if I remember right.
TNT came out only in the newest update for the pocket version....
so yeah it gives you an impression of how far behind it is.

Sounds like a viable version of Minecraft, just a really primitive one...
Generations of Chaos
Blazing Souls Accelate
Spectral Souls
Unlucky Hero
Chaos Rings
Chaos Rings Omega

these are all on sale atm, though Unlucky Hero is an IAP
Bear Fishing
Ceramic Destroyer
Jewels Legend
Plague Inc.
Unicorn Dash
Puddle THD
GOF2 THD

Oh and get the minecraft demo first, controls on a tablet suck for anything more than flight sims and tap games... fps style are horrid unless you get a USBOTG and use a controller.

Yeah it's handy if you're bored on the go, which is what apps were designed for
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it but there is a little Dead Space prequel game EA (I think it was EA) put out for Android available. I got that for my Kindle Fire but haven't gotten around to giving it a spin. It looked fun though and I think it was pretty cheap. I forget what it ran me now. You should be able to find it on Amazon and other places I'd imagine.
