Any comic collectors out there know a site I can use to help keep track of my collection? Perhaps something similar to Metal Archives album collection feature? For those who don't know how that works, you basicly would go to the bands page look for the album and hit an "add to my collection" button. Comic Book price guide only lets me go to 50 books before I have to pay for membership and I have waaaaay more than 50 comics!
There's a free site called stash my comics.

I don't really know how useful a site it is I haven't used it much...
but since no one else replied I figured it couldn't hurt to throw it out there.

If someone knows of a better free site I'd love to know about it too.
My pile 'o' comics is becoming unwieldy.
Thought I know nothing about them,a friend who lives in the U.S offered me an old Comic book for my birthday :"Doctor Strange" I'm afraid to take it out from its cover as it's kinda old...

thought i'd give it a try, but when i try to register it keeps saying "registration failed" but doesn't give any explanation as to why. oh well.

edit: went to the forums and it said "new registrations are currently not accepted" or something like that. bastards.

edit two: do a search for "organizing comics collections" or similar; seems to be some cool software out there but you have to pay for it. guess i'll just do my own.

Really? I just registered today. I must have just made it in before the cut off.
Did it say how long before they'll start excepting new registrations again?
Or why they stopped? I agree though, that's pretty lame.

edit: While I was looking around for a site someone on a messageboard somewhere (I forget which one) mentioned that you can keep track of collections at www.comicbookdb.com

I've looked at the site but I've never used it. I believe it's free as well.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't think anyone would reply to this! haha Anyway thanks for this, this works just fine for what I'm doing!
I use Comic Collector Live. I'm not sure on if there's a free trial or whatnot, but it is subscription based at some point. On the upside, the program contains a LOT of stuff. Constantly updated and it can keep track of variant covers and lets you know what you're missing.
