As long as the stat punishment for murder is equal in severity to the gold punishment it balances out. I don't see a logical inconsistency, throughout history (and even today in certain places) you can buy/bribe your way out of a prison sentence, even for murder via blood money.

Why not call the option "Bribe a guard" if it's a more severe crime, and "Pay a fine" if it's less, just to make the choice more logically consistent?

+1
The most serious offences could lack a real fine, but you can have the bribe option. Maybe tie it to diplomacy skills if Antharion has any, or faction reputation.

That's a really good idea. In fact we've never really made a distinction between bribe and fine - as both are functionally identical. I myself like the idea of a bribe a little more but your idea sounds good.
We just posted a new video update demonstrating Antharion's day/night cycle...

Video Update #8
Wow, looks amazing. It annoyed me greatly in Morrowind how the NPCs have no schedules, and how all the windows were boarded up and there was no natural light indoors. That was truly an awful game.

Just wanted to congratulate you on getting funded this time around. Nice to see a fellow Floridian succeed :D

I'll put my two cents in here, as for the random encounters, making them like Fallout is nice. They're not terribly intrusive, but they add to the game.

Since the countdown lasts until after finals, looks like I might have to pledge for this after they're finally done with.
Thanks a lot guys! There are not that many of us down in Florida. @Shadow, I tend to agree with you on random encounters and I'm a bit inclined towards make it an optional game setting so.

Tablets can certainly use more games that go beyond the kind of fare that used to be represented by online Flash games, so I wish you good luck. Be careful about advertising the port around here though since some people here have a hatred of tablets and people who like tablets.

Oh, and I really liked the lighting effects demonstrated in your last update. :)

Eh, come now man, that's stretching things already. Or maybe I just haven't seen organized lynch mobs against tablet owners/lovers.

Can't blame people for hating on tablets. Most tablet games either suck or have no business running on the platform. There are however some games which work really well on these devices, and luckily for us, Antharion is one of them.
We just added 3 more reward tiers via Update #10.
