GOG has the 15th anniversary update/remake (but fear not, it was made by the same guy, 100% faithful to the original), which, I believe, added a few new checkpoints to make it a bit less unforgiving. But yes, it's definitely more brutal than HoD, but still an amazing game. Incredible in its time, still very good today.
Sanitarium is really good, too, though it does fall apart towards the end. The early chapters, however, are brilliant.

Already have Sanitarium...I was going to get Another World at full price eventually so this is awesome. Bought. :)

I'm with, as it seems, most people here who already have Sanitarium but not AW! When the latter appeared on GOG I thought it was a bit pricey - it's a very good game, I enjoyed the DOS demo to no end 17 years ago, but from everything you hear it is quite a short game. For $6.99 it seems like a good deal though.

On the official shop I think it's about $10 maybe more so I don't mind. The anniversary content makes it worth it for me.

True - I'm talking in spoiled GOG terms, where there's just the $6 and the $10 category for the largest, most deep and epic games ever, so in comparison I thought it would have fit better in the $6 category. But it is a re-issue with additional content. I'm sure it's worth $10 or more, just personally I wouldn't have bought it (or not yet) without the discount.

Hmm. $7 is a fair price for Another World, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it myself. I played it quite a few times back in the day, though I never actually managed to finish it. I'm not sure if I have the fortitude to play it again.
