Well, it was also a good day too. I got Reus as my daily deal and was able to trade it for something I wanted :)
So for those curious about my rant, here it is:

[rant]It begins with this dingus. I already made my stance on Steam clear: I just don't care for it, but I'm not going to take a torch and pitchfork to someone who does. However, what I do take issue with is posting in threads on here, running off at the mouth about how Steam or another site has much better sales/content than GOG and how they would "defect" if GOG became like X site. I don't go on Steam forums and bitch about how they should be DRM-free or how a good portion of their community is made up of mentally prepubescent nimrods (whether that's true or not isn't something I'm ranting about :P) . As much as I love GOG, I'm not a proselytizer. I believe in freedom of choice and it doesn't matter whether I agree or not, but, in the same vein, don't knock what I care about. Kinda the same sentiment I have for the atheists who put up billboards around town during the holiday season just to get press coverage.[/rant]

Rant edit: Yes, I know it's not nice to call someone a 'dingus', but his comment really irritated me.

I think I've reached the point where I'm tired of being indifferent. I'm very mellow in person and that carries over onto the forums I participate in, but, over the last five or so years, I've seen so many abuses of the anonymity the internet provides. I try not to be mean or feed trolls or encourage stupidity, but there's a limit to what one person can take :P

Love the Rant and second it! I find it annoying people post on the classifieds all these games they have; few of which are GOG games, and then only want Steam games in return. Take that "ish" over to steam boards then if thats all you want! -- End Rant myself ;0)
