Ok, so I have not played any of the original fallout titles but I played three and loved it so if i win i would like to get fallout tactics as I am planning on buying the other two myself. This is my entry:

When I first got fallout 3 I came home and I put it in all excited. My friend was with me at the time. We sat down and first of all we got the training done, which was quite fun. But...and this is a big but, when we finally got out of the vault I saw the open environment outside. I don't know what it was about that moment but we were gobsmacked. It was just so vast and lifelike. Anyway we sat down and played it, swapping over the controller from time to time and we got pretty far in and i went to the toilet. But, when I came back and saw what my friend had done I was so annoyed. He'd only gone and blown up Megaton. Arrrrrrggghhh. Oh well, I wasn't complaining. I got to do it all again XD.

Well, if we can write over 120 words, then I would have. I don't understand now, if that's the case then I will expand. I only limited myself to avoid going over 120.

I'm sitting here, staring at my macbook reading your awesome entries with a bottle of Harviestoun's Old Engine Oil (one of my favorite beers!) and I gotta tell ya it's awesome. There's some really stiff competition, and I've already seen a lot of quality writing. I'm surprised no one tried their hand at humour yet, though!

As for people who broke the word limit... Rules are rules. BUT if you can justify breaking the word limit by writing something that is simply impossible to not enjoy, I'll bend the rules a bit... but please, let's stick to the rules for now, I've already decided to give one of the games to one of these rebels, but that's as far as I'll go :) The word limit is there because:

1. It gives everyone an equal chance at winning, since you really have to make your words count
2. I'm lazy and work from 12 to 8pm, so it's easier for me to read all the entries when they're short since it gives me a chance to properly evaluate them and give them the attention they deserve :)

The flash the bang the ash the hags
Women without hair are freaks
Men without hair are geeks
Seeing my scalp now I gag
My jowls now quietly sag
They said eating without teeth
Would not be very steep

Even with my energy weapons and mag

Didn't exactly count those words and I propably break the longevity rule.

A man and his dog await the falling of the sun before leaving the shade to resume the hunt. No water for days, longer for food. With dust choked raspy voice, Man turns to Dog and says...

"Well Buck-a-roo, we done lit the fuse. Notin up this blasted gulch for even one them mysticalled chipmunchers. Notin but dead dirt. Ain't even a rat turd to eat. Can't climb out the gulch. I have never really written any fiction besides the meager stuff I post here on the forums (The Murder Mystery Contest and Adventures in Vue, the forum RPG.) I'm working on improving that.
