Gilthanaz: i never played much of the Activision games.
Shadowcat: In which case you'll concede that your initial statement that "Activision doesnt have that many good titles" might, conceivably, be total nonsense.
And even if it really was just "one or other title every now and then", the company has been around for
30 years. Every now and then crops up quite a lot over that kind of time span.
My point, that having acquired a publisher with a few nice games did not need the countdown and huge fuzz around it, specially if its only 2 games that are released after it ended, is still valid.
In the whole catalogue i found only a few games that fulfill the minimum personal requirements of mine:
* good
* worth 5.99 or 9.99
* old enough so they will actually be released by gog.
Sure buys are:
* Homeworld series
* Vampire: tM
* Battlezone II
What, imho, would have been worth a countdown, would have been the acquisition of all the old bullfrog titles: Populous Series, Powermonger, Dungeon Keeper series, Syndicate, Genewars, ....
