Nice! :)
Activision and $5.99 - Is worth news in itself. They've also got a good back catalogue, so I'm eager to see what is released.
Great! Now let's see if everybody's wishes can be fulfilled.
It's pointless for me to put a list here, but I'm excited and can't help but type type type!
Blood Omen
Heavy Gear II
Heretic II
Hexen I & II
Hyperblade
I'76
Mech Warrior
Return to Zork
Solider of Fortune
Star Trek/Star Wars games
TIME COMMANDO!
Twinsen's Odyssey
Vampire series
Zork
I mean there is a whole heap of great stuff here, hopefully they pick enough of them to keep us all buying. And would definitely be advisable for GOG to sell the stuff that is hard to get working on our own.
The games from 2000 are easy enough to get and play. But Things like Twinsen's and Time Commando can be difficult(although I still play my original of Time Commando pretty much hitch free)
Good Job GOG really, just one more question...Can Activision's stepping lure over EA?
Good news. Maybe we will see Larry and Roger here soon and i hope we will not only see the newer versions with point-and-click and vga graphics. If there is a chance, please bundle it with the old versions, they have a total different atmosphere than the remakes.
Seeing as Raven is a part of Activision,
maybe we;ll see Soldier of Fortune here :D wheeeeeeee
Either way congrats, quite an achievement.
Hey is Sam And Max Hit The Road part of Activision too? If so, what's the chance of that game coming?

Gilthanaz: i never played much of the Activision games.

In which case you'll concede that your initial statement that "Activision doesnt have that many good titles" might, conceivably, be total nonsense.
And even if it really was just "one or other title every now and then", the company has been around for 30 years. Every now and then crops up quite a lot over that kind of time span.

This is a happy place.
I am seriously spazzing out here! It's awesome to think of all the games this gives gog access to, from Zork to Quake...Return to Zork..Quake 2...all the old Sierra games, holy omfg....c'mon guys, give me GK2 and 3 now! :) the possibilities here are HUGE..this is awesome!
What about INTERSTATE 76, then?
Come on guys!
We need it!
Arcanum is one of my favorite RPGs ever, and I always wanted to try the Gabriel Knight series. And let's wait and see what other games will come...
Way to go, GOG!

Well done, GOG, well done! Arcanum seems very interesting!
But, alas, I am spending far too much... You're like a drug, but with endless suplies.
Congratulations GOG, that's quite a coup. Here's to many more!

My point, that having acquired a publisher with a few nice games did not need the countdown and huge fuzz around it, specially if its only 2 games that are released after it ended, is still valid.
In the whole catalogue i found only a few games that fulfill the minimum personal requirements of mine:
* good
* worth 5.99 or 9.99
* old enough so they will actually be released by gog.
Sure buys are:
* Homeworld series
* Vampire: tM
* Battlezone II
What, imho, would have been worth a countdown, would have been the acquisition of all the old bullfrog titles: Populous Series, Powermonger, Dungeon Keeper series, Syndicate, Genewars, ....
