GingeR13: Isn't BAK free to download for quite some time? if so - this could [should i'd rather say :)] be another GOG freebie!

I thought it was too, but apparently it was only free during the release of the sequel. Since then apparently it's not freeware (according to Wikipedia). Which is a shame, because many saw it as one of the first 'liberated' games by a major publisher, which gave hope that others would soon follow.
Thank You GOG for such a wonderful website that is bringing back to all of us the good old games that are now playable on the new operating systems. You're team is incredible!
That said, I would like to request Return to Zork and Zork Grand Inquisitor.
Again Thank You,
Mr. Bill
So, now that February is almost upon us, what exactly is going to be entailed in this "Month of Activision"? Will there be a game a day, (making 5 games per week, if we don't count multi-game collections), which would skyrocket the games count even more on the site, right?
So could someone connected with GOG please enlighten us on this, since it hasn't been done before?

It is Monday afternoon and nothing new being published yet. I expect about four games will be published each week, two on Tue and two on Thu. Will see, anyway.
Why should they exhaust the entire potential of the publisher by releasing a lot more games than normal in a month?
One release each tuesday and thursday, business as usual. Maybe one or two extra big names right at the end to go out with a bang. With a promise of more to come, at some unknown future date.
I agree with stonebro. Let's not hype ourselves again, it'll only end in disappointment. :P

kswiston: Those hoping for Starcraft/Diablo 2/Warcraft 3, a couple points:
1) As Blizzard offers the titles on their own store for much higher price points than they would get on GOG, I don't see those titles ever appearing. The Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 battlechests still retail here in Canada for $40-50 in most places I have been. Right now, Best Buy is selling the 8-9 year old Diablo 2 Battlechest for $45 on their online store. No way are they being released on GOG for even $15.
2) ALL CD Keys for Starcraft, Diablo II, and Warcraft III can be registered on Blizzard's Battlenet site. Registering the games on the site gives you full access to download the digitally distributed version. What I did was buy Starcraft and Diablo 2 keys off people for $4-5 each and then register the keys on Battlenet. Now I can download the full games whenever I want, directly from Blizzard. Starcraft and D2 sold millions of copies each. There are a lot of cheap used copies out there with valid keys.

I personally would much rather have all of that in ONE place, instead of going to 2 different websites and contending with 2 different e-commerce systems. (even tho I do that already w/ Steam, I'd much rather use GOG for everything)

Hmm now I would love to get my hands on
1.Return to Castle Wolfenstein
2.Quake III Arena
3.Team Arena
4. Doom 3
5. Star Trek Voyager Elite Force
if they add 1920 x 1200 and higher resolutions to it :D

This makes a lot of sense (though I didn't realize GoG generally does a new release every tuesday and thursday, if that's what you meant). I'm pretty fine with it, if they get at least a few major iconic games out (Vampire: Bloodlines especially). I hope these aren't put off until the end though. I'm eager to play them.

Hmmm, nothing new came out today. It looks like GOG is going to publish something on Thursday. One, maybe two new titles? It could be a good strategy: if they published to many games people wouldn't buy them all. If they published less, 'hungry' games would buy everything :-)
BUT I NEED IT NAAAOOOOOO
COME ON MAN, DON'T HOLD OUT ON ME LIKE THIS
Games by i.D: not happening, extra deal required.
Games by LucasArts: not happening, extra deal required.
All I would like is:
SPYCRAFT: the great game
Interstate 76 (and please please please let us at the audio for it!)

Elite Force supports more resolutions than are listed in the game; you just have to tweak the config file. I run it at 1440 x 900. Here are the instructions:
