*tries to show some form of excitement that doesn't result with me exploding*
HyperBlade. Please. Please. I can not express further my joy and passion for this game. When I was a child I had made an entire Australian League from this game. Violent Sci-Fi Sports, it was under-appreciated and awesome. Please let me play this game once again. Please! Ugh, PLEASE!

Gilthanaz: Iam dissapointed. Nothing great :( And Activision doesnt have that many good titles either
You are officially out of your mind.
This is definitely some good news. Activision certainly has a large library of published games. I'm excited to see what new additions we'll be having this month. I never played Arcanum or Gabriel Knight but I've heard good things.
Wow. I got to admit that pure hype thread raised expectations from GOG way too high.
But let's get back from fantasy land....
Still, getting Activision is GREAT achievement of GOG. Congratulations!
Congrats guys, well done.
This wasn't easy, i'm sure ;)
Thank You.
both of these games are amazing
Awasome. Finally I have more hope for old Sierra's games, which belongs to Acti, especially Homeworld'ses - best strategy I ever played...

xa_chan: well, I hate you CNET, it's official. And shame on you, GOG, to have leaked the info, making your countdown useless and stupid.

Indeed. I'd say that was a case of extremely poor judgement on somebody's part.
Still, with Activision on board, it can only be a matter of time before the rest of the biggies give in :-D
Bring on the Sierra games. :)

Shadowcat: Why? Besides the one or other title every now and then, like the Vampire games and Battlezone II, i never played much of the Activision games. Not that i can remember. I could be wrong and they bought a lot of smaller companies and now a lot of nice games go by that publisher, but even then iam dissapointed its only 2 games released at the moment. Specially 2 games i personally dont like, tho iam sure theres a lot of people who liked them ;)
That wasn't worth a countdown of several days, see...

Edit: If they bought sierra, tho, Homeworld comes to mind. I think that was sierra back then :)

Congrats x100 to GOG! :)
Welcome Activision! That's freaky to say...
As promised, here is Neoseeker's feature/interview on the announcement. Hope you guys like it!

Great news.
Glad Activision joins.
Hopefully at some point Blizzard decides to follow (March?).
I just finished a game this week, Arcanum will be my next 1.
Just bought it, despite my huge back catalog, simply to say thank you to GOG and Activision.

AkiMatti: Okay, I just peeked at the Activision notable games list in wikipedia and here is my wishlist concerning:

Interstate 76 with soundtrack!
Most of the others they don't own the rights to, by the way.
