BJWanlund: Half-Life 1 and its expansions (they published it, after all)
Team Fortress Classic (another Sierra-published Valve title!)

You must have missed that little lawsuit between Valve and Sierra that happened a few years ago.
"it's wealth of PC gaming gems"
its, not it's. insert bob the angry flower strip here.
(my last 2 cent of the day) remember that :
developer =/= publisher
Activision is mainly a publisher, don't over-credit Activision with the games they published, maybe they put some or all the money on the table, maybe they just accepted to publish it.
=> love the developers/artists first, especially when the publisher is the biggest (or one of the biggest) in the world, please :)
wow, thats just great news. especially gabriel knight! hope to see "beast within"on gog asap. ;) and, of course, some other sierra games like phantasmagoria and the swat games.

Lone3wolf: Doom 3 might be a wishlist game....

Only distributed by Activision, I'm afraid. Don't hold out any hope for id games here. We'd need Zenimax here for that.
Edit: Oh and the Total War games are completely owned by Sega now.
Bloodlines is a big hell yeah though. Especially if they do a good job of fixing it up. I don't know what they can do with the community patches though. I suppose as long as the game works with them then it's all good. I'd grab that game in a heartbeat.

im so happy.... bloodlines is coming... im so happy bloodlines is coming! and maybe redemption too ^_^
AWEOSME acquisition. I remember many a day spent playing old Activision and Sierra titles. This was better than what I thought it would be (countdowns are usually disappointing). Thanks a ton! :D
Now I'm just waiting for MechWarrior, Heavy Gear, Battlezone, and Interstate '76. :D

AkiMatti: Okay, I just peeked at the Activision notable games list in wikipedia and here is my wishlist concerning:
BattleZone!
Interstate '76
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
Battlezone II: Combat Commander
The Dig
Hexen II
Heretic II
Total War series
SiN
And maybe Zork...

I thought The Dig was Lucasarts.

honorbuddy: I thought The Dig was Lucasarts.

Heavy Gear, Battlezone, and everything Infocom! I have wanted to play those things for so long, but haven't had a chance to buy them yet.

OptimusHun: Great news. Maybe come Star Trek classic titles too? The all ST games are in the hand of Activision:
Star Trek Armada I-II
Star Trek Elite Force I-II
Star Trek Bridge Commander
Hmmm, maybe it's just a dream.

Unlikely given that Atari now has the Star Trek license.
Waitwaitwait Hexen and Heretic? Oh gosh, I remember those. They were awesome. :0
Holy c- Lost Vikings, I totally forgot about them! :o
EDIT: OMG does this mean there's gonna be some Legacy of Kain here too!? :D

I hope the first one (2D top down game) arrives here... I can't get it to work on Vista at all. Mind you, it didn't like XP much either.

They say they have ~20 games they will release in about 15 releases roughly (some packed together) in the initial deal....
