A new kickstarter project I think deserves some attention.

Among the Sleep is a first person Horror adventure, but it is played through the eyes of a 2 year old. The game mixes reality, surrealism and fantasy, in a way which means anything that happens can be part of the child's imagination or reality.

The premiss seems very intriguing, check out the kickstarter page:

or the webpage:

The game is almost finished, the kickstarter is to raise money for the very last bits - polishing and game testing.
Looks very surreal but in a very cool way. I kept thinking the vase was a penguin - a very scary penguin!
Pledged.

Not enough good survival horror out there.
A little bump-bumpity-bump for greater social justice.
I heard of this and it indeed looks very unique however I'm a wuss when it comes to first-person horror games and I promised myself to stay away from KS until I reap at least 1/2 of my rewards. I still set a reminder, though...
I am going to be bumping this regularly until the KS is over, so better get used to it.

Also, a handy table has been produced to show what you get at the different tiers:

And vote for it on Greenlight:

And yes, it is a weak excuse for a bump...
Only 5 days left, and it is almost managed to be funded.

also - it will support Oculus Rift, http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/krillbite/among-the-sleep/posts/473347, just check out the video and how it works peaking around corners
Reminds me of the the derpy beginning of Fallout 3

The funding goal of $200,000 was achieved just a few minutes ago. Congratulations!

Looks really promising. I'll shurely pick this up when it's available on GOG.
I need to bump this.

I would like to try the alpha, but it doesn't work on my PC. It shows this error message (picture attached). In English, it says "version of this file is not compatible with your version of Windows, check which version is required (32-bit/64-bit), contact support..." WTF? My PC with Core 2 Duo E8600 and GeForce 7950GT (512MB on board) is running Vista 32-bit. However, I only have 2GB or RAM. The developers says that the game requires 3GB (4GB for 64-bit systems). Maybe that's the problem (especially because this is alpha, and the minimum system requirement might be more strict here), but "not enough memory" error, game crashing or running unstable could be better than this awkward error message. Running as admin doesn't help.

Was someone able to run the alpha successfully on a PC with only 2GB of RAM?

By default, I think the files that were in the update post were only for 64-bit systems. Did you try the 32-bit version from here?

No one mention the amazing Occulus Rift support for this game?
