Really good reviews, I am thinking of trying to play this despite the anxiety. Any word on a boxed release ever happening? On their site is says TBA, like there might be one.

I think someone said earlier Frictional wasnt sure if/when they'd get a publisher for it. It probably depends on how it does digitally. So buy it twice. :)

Tried the demo on Steam. I shat myself.
AMNESIA HAS A LEVEL EDITOR!
Good God, just think of all the delicious horror we'll be having! D:
This will be a classic. In the future, hordes of retro gamers who grew up with the game in the good old 10's will flock to www.gogsteam.com when the game is finally re-released.

Tears were shed. That sounds beautiful to me.

RPS's John Walker tells us wot he thinks.
Reviews just keep coming in positive. I wish I could play it now...
If you preordered it, your Steam code is now on your shelf on Frictional's site, so you can enter it on Steam and start preloading now.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up. I am now pre-loaded and ready to scream like a little girl tomorrow as this game looks full-set to scare the bejeezus out of me.
I can't wait for everyone to suffer as I did. :)
Officially out on PC. Log onto your Frictional account and you can download it. Too bad I'm going to sleep soon and have work tomorrow. =(
I want to get it but I've no guts. Love-hate relationship with Horror games. Heck, my FEAR 1 boxed set is still in the cupboard, quit after the 3rd stage. I completed DOOM 3 listening to Winamp for the whole game. I completed first Resident Evil on Sega Saturn in broad daylight, muted, and with the radio on. I had no soundcard back then for the first Alone in the Dark.
I suppose I will die horribly for Amnesia.
I dont know if to play this or finish penumbre first. :(

Yeah I came home really tired and wasted, but this has revitalized me!
Downloading now with an anticipation akin to frenzy.

How long did it take for you to finish the game? I'm thinking of having an all-night marathon, but if it can last for at least a dozen hours, maybe I'll spread out the gaming hours.

In case nobody realised yet, if you add your key to Steam you can already download, decrypt and play the game. You'll probably need to restart Steam after downloading though for it to pop up the decryption dialog box.
