Daedalus1138: Oh no, not at all. In fact, I've been interested in the book for a while. I was just saying that the idea behind the book (and the movie) is a little silly, not that it couldn't be a good book. After all, from all the reviews I've seen, it actually is a good book.
It definitely is a little silly, I'll give you that. But then again, aren't some of the best games out there a little silly?

Fred_DM: finally. been waiting for the true story of that great man to come to the big screen. too few people know.

hedwards: I've been sick the last week and I saw a show about the true life of George Washington. Did you know that he was a cannibal that subsisted mainly on children? And that there's a secret society known as the Washingtonians dedicated to preserving his memory?
Well, this would probably be more acceptable for the industry than an adaptation of a very recent psycholgy study that demonstrates that corporate western society now manages to make psychopaths successful - and thus far more dangerous than they ought to be - in the corporate world ( espcially banking & finance ) rather than to ensure that they are barred from any access to leadership. And if policticians are not mentionned in the study, it's probably because it needs to be politically correct.

keeveek: You've got the point. It would be pretty difficult to make a movie that is worse than Human Centipede. But Human Centipede sequel is coming up, so we'll see.

oh, it already came out... oh my...
I haven't seen either one, but I got queasy just reading the description of the 2nd one on Wikipedia. No thanks.
From the movie like human centipede you would expect it would be gory, disgusting or at least funny.

It wasn't. It was boring, cheap, dull, horribly acted and basically, pointless.

You haven't missed anything by not watching this piece of shit.

AlKim: You think it could be worse?

*SPOILER* A woman who is supposed to be part of the new centipede escapes. She is pregnant. When she makes it to her kidnappers car, a mute psychopath who saw the first movie (From what a friend said at least), she has a miscarriage caused by the state of health and her panic from the antagonist outside the car. She also steps on the stillborn child's head which we see.
*SPOILER END*
Yeah, save yourself.
Excellent. This is just the kind of quality entertainment I know I can count on Netflix making available via steaming for me.

Rohan15: snip
Well, this sounds like the second part has at least some gory moments...

Depressing really.

Daedalus1138: There's a book, too:

http://www.amazon.com/Abraham-Lincoln-Vampire-Seth-Grahame-Smith/dp/0446563072/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1325620256&sr=1-1

I can only assume that the movie is an adaption of the aforementioned book. Supposedly, the book is well-researched, though I don't know if that's true. But yeah, it is a little silly.
And a trailer for said book:

Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter
Honestly this kind of thing interests me a hell of a lot more than most movies.
America, Fuck Yeah!
Who's the actor for Abe? Wesley Snipes?

cw8: Who's the actor for Abe? Wesley Snipes?
Tiger Woods
Because we love stuff that's so stupid it's awesome!
seriously how the hell can you NOT want to watch that?
