Am I the only one that likes to keep at least the General Forum (for me it is at least the forums of games I own) cleared of any bolded thread headings, so you know if there is something new posted or replied to on the boards?
Come on, tell me I am not the only one...

Yes, you probably are. I actually have a mild form of OCPD, and even I don't keep my forums as clean as that.

Not sure if it is OCPD, but I simply like to be able to see if something new has been posted and thus far it is the only way to know for sure.
you are only one there :) on some forums I clean bold topics, but there I just check new ones.
I hover over the general forums too.
I hover over them as well. I like to clear out topics so when I come back to the forums I can see if anything new popped up.
Thanks guys it is nice not to be the only one that likes a clean list to see what's new! :oP
I tend to just make the threads I'm interested in into favourites, and check those each time there's something new. I still have threads that haven't seen a new post for weeks, but can't bring myself to remove them yet...

I have done the same things but have since removed all but 2 favorites in the various forums.
Be strong you can do it! :o)
I can't help it with the General Forum area. There may be some place there where the internet demands I post!
That, and a patchy BOLD/unbold list... Ahh! Must make them all unbolded!

How can I tell if anything is new on GD unless I *manually* unbold everything!! Must hit refresh 3 times at least!!!
hehe.. me too, I'm there with you folks on this one :)
edit: now I was sure there was less bold in general a moment ago.. *smile*

Oh yes, I refresh too!
If only this was some type of a game. We do have Players (avatars) EXP (rep) and Equipment (games), I'd feel like less of a forum junkie.
And when someone quotes me and that little red banner-flag shows up. I ignore everything else first and rush for it.

Yeah me too, it's a bit narcissistic, I kind of expect every reply to be one telling me how great I am and I'm usually disappointed.
A "Last Poster" column would be a nice addition, that way you know if it's worth reading or if its just Ois...
