Luisfius: Too late for SEGA but since the IP is Obsidian's there is a faint, FAINT chance of a possible sequel in the far future, since they are actually interested on re-exploring it.
Obsidian have been suspiciously quiet of late and while not a big studio New Vegas DLC can't be the only thing they are working on...

FALLOUT 4 PLZNTU BETH
Apparently, they are developing a game based on the Wheel of Time novels. Bah. Shame their Aliens RPG was shitcanned.

Well that's going to be... awkward considering their old friends Bioware took a great big dollop of inspiration from The Wheel of Time when they made Dragon Age: Origins.

Luisfius: Alpha Protocol is 75% off on Green Man GaMING. Strangely, it registers on Steam.

Got it for 1€ :P

Traded in some games I didn't even know I own. Must have been something I got when GMG started operating and put out some ass-cheap good deals. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. :)

IIRC, they are co-developing that project with another studio,*googles it* Red Eagle Games. I seriously hope that they have another ace up their sleeve, like that new IP they've been pitching to several publishers.

Personally, though, I hope they get to produce a new Fallout game.

Agreed. A Fallout game done by Obsidian with the new Skyrim engine could be very good.

As long as it's not this broken piece of **** named gamebryo.

I'll be very happy if Obsidian works on the sequel to Fallout 3: Van Buren - New Vegas, but it'd please the Master even more if it goes back to being turn based again. I think turn-based in a 3D environment is a rarely touched on concept overflowing with untapped potential.

What are the chances though...

If Incubation could do it I don't see why not. But it's really not for the masses. So the chances are zero.
The next Fallout will surely be by Bethesda, but hopefully Obsidian gets the one after that if they're still around.

I liked Fallout 3 despite its flaws and kindergarten level writing, so whatever.
After a month since KneeTheCap sent me a code for AP, I FINALLY have it downloaded from GamersGate.

10.70 gig download in total. Not much to some, frekking massive to me. So after I finally have it downloaded, I go to install...and the game wants an additional 13 gigs to install the actual game.

I have a 232 gig HD. Far from small, but 23 gigs for one game takes a huge chunk of it. I had to delete a lot of things, including some files I'd been saving (I like finding rare music/video files and keeping them for posterity).

And if I read right, I need to download patches and I wouldn't be surprised if there were community fixes floating around by now. May as well look.

Hopefully the game was worth this hassle.

Well play it and let us know what you think about it! :D
Something sounds off if you have to d/l an additional 13 gigs. And I know of no mods for this game. There's also only one patch which doesn't do much for the game itself.
