No Planescape, yet it has Angry Birds, kinda loses any respect from me anyway.

LOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL !!!!!!!!!!! Dude, that list is a joke ! Where the fuck is Sacrifice ? Where are the HOMM games? Where's Dune 1? Where's MDK ? Where's Vice City? Where's Duke Nukem ? Where's Warcraft? Where's the Warlords series (RTS and TBS) ? Where's Fallout? WTF?!?!?!

EDIT: Yes, Planescape. For that matter, where the fuck are any of the D&D classics?

Yeah, the moment you put something like Angry Birds on a "greatest" list, you lose all credibility as far as I'm concerned.
Definitely not the 100 greatest games. Maybe the most important or influential games of their time and in its' genre, but definitely not the greatest.
No Bloodlines, and no Baldur's Gate?!? No Morrowind??

As a possibility, they might have considered including a series, instead of a single game. For example the Ultima series, and not just U4.
Yet another subjective and pointless top X list. Oh, well.

Well, they tried a very broad approach. And even if PS:T is one of the best games I ever played, it is far from being a commercial success. This looks more like a list of games for you average person, not for gamers.
I agree with some, and disagree with others; exactly as one would expect with a list like this. I actually admire them for their broad approach (and your favorite game isn't on there because these lists are subjective, people), but think they handled series poorly--e.g. Wizardry 1 is presumably on there because it started the Wizardry series, not because whoever compiled the list thinks it's the best Wizardry game. Likewise Castlevania, Resident Evil, and a few others.

But...but...but its not "commercially" successful games, its all time greatest games, now the topic will go into another art vs commerce debate and IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!1111ELEVENTYONE!

:)
I usually pay no mind to those top so on and so forth shows and articles, i know what i rate most games as and thats all that matters to me.
When they had included Oblivion over Morrowind I realized this list was garbage. Among the other blatant omissions, it really seemed like a list compiled by people who sat out gaming during the 90s and 2000s
Is this another one of those threads where we complain about some list because it isn't exclusively 90s PC RPGs made by Black Isle?
