kit.hargreaves: My Divine Divinity just finished downloading, but it won't launch. I'm hesitant to ask support as I've already contacted them twice in the past week over two different things and don't want to make a fuss. Having said that, this is the first game I've got from gog that hasn't worked immediately (I've bought about 12 games so far I think).
Alfie3000: If its still not working post some more info why its not working eg error message, black screen and we'll help you. Also take a look at the game sub forum
Divine Divinity to see if others had the same problem.
Thanks for the help. Screenshot attached. It says to check if I have enough disk space, and that I have rights to play it. I also included other info in the screenshot to show I have both of those things. I checked on the relevant forum, but didn't see any issues others were having that were similar to this.
Furthermore, if it helps, I'm on Windows 7 (64bit), Nvidia graphics cards, Sony Vaio (waiting for my soopa doopa new Origin laptop to arrive).
Beyond Divinity is installing now, hoping it will work without issues, but I've heard Divine Divinity is better, so it would be really nice to get it working.
Update: Beyond Divinity is having the exact same problem, which makes me think it's probably an issue with my laptop or something, though I haven't had this issue with any of the other gog games I've got so far.
Update2: It's now working, by right clicking and selecting run as admin. Sorry to sound like an idiot, but how do I get it to know that I am admin, and to just run it like that when I double click like all my other games? I'm not making a good first impression, I know, but I'm very grateful for any help I can get with it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
