In the second mission (with that elevator ride), the game is slowed down on the said elevator. Is that intentional, or it is caused by my crappy PC (somewhat better than minimal requirements)?
The thing is, that this is the only place in the game where it is slow and except a weird camera bug in the last mission the game runs fine.

The thing is, that this is the only place in the game where it is slow and except a weird camera bug in the last mission the game runs fine.

It's slowed for the first part of it, then jumps back to regular speed.

Yeah, I thought my laptop couldn't stand it or anything but it turned out to be a game design thing. What the hell Valve?

It was in UT 2k4 Alien Swarm as well. It's SLOW MOTION. It's there to be COOL, so you can watch NOTHING happen in SLOW-MO. In the original version, there was at leas bizilion aliens jumping at you during the process, so it actually WAS quite cool :D

If you play on Hard (which seems closer to the normal of the mod :p) you still get the bazillion jumping at you, after the first 10 seconds.

Uh yea, slow motion usually isn't the cause for lack of good hardware. More like a framerate of 2 FPS

Downloaded, tried out single player for a bit. would love to do multi, but behind university firewall which blocks it (ggrr!)
