This trailer got me pumped up in a way Skyrim wishes it could.
Oh...my...god...

I was getting a bit skeptical what with just showing us pre-rendered cutscenes before, but after seeing that...is it wrong to admit that I got a bit of a hard on for this game now?

Thanks for linking that, I want so very much now...
not bad trailer but... i see here console (crap) controls, and well - i'ts EA... better don't make high expectations.
Alice in Wonderland..... an action RPG??? okay now I've seen it all... I would have thought the best way to make a game with Alice as a source of inspiration would be Point and Click adventure game kind of like Kings Quest meets Alice in wonderland but huh I'll follow this see where it goes thanks for the link!
It certainly has the look and feel of the original Alice. I'm sold.

People watching the trailer won't fully "get it" though unless they've played the original Alice.

Thanks Kabuto that actually made it a lot more clearer to me :)
Looking good, looking good. Although I'm not sure about the machine gun, or whatever that was.

If you watch that scene when it shows Alice firing the gun from behind you see that see's actually winding it up like a jack in the box in order to fire it. :D

I was more thinking about the automatic fire, I'm sure it'll feel great in-game though. It just seemed "odd".

Aye, I do know what you mean, hopefully it'll have very little ammo so that you can barely use it or you get it late in the game, otherwise it might outshine the knife (can't have that!!!).

On a side note, another gameplay trailer, dunno if everyone already knew about it or not but it seems to show more what the game will actually play as since it's just someone playing an early build by the looks of things.

Towards the end you get to see a fight, including the use of the machinegun thing. Alice seems to switch between the weapons rather quickly and often.

EDIT: Edited because I put the wrong link in like a complete muppet.

That seems to be a thread about Dragon Age 2, nothing about Alice as far as I can see. Did you post the wrong link?

Yes...Yes I did...That teaches me for posting in two threads simultaneously....

That's the proper one, I hope...

I think it's a pepper mill. And it looks like it overheats (or something?) if fired too long. There's a gauge in the upper right that fills when it's fired, and empties when it's not in use.
I really hope the game includes support for over-the-shoulder camera controls. It's a third-person shooter, for God's sake. I think that I am probably hoping in vain.

Yeah, that makes sense (did I just say that a peppar mill machinegun makes sense? Well, I had to crack eventually I suppose...), noticed that they didn't seem to fire it for long in the other video.
