To be honest, I tried the original McGee's Alice... Uninstalled it after the first level, just didn't see the appeal - the graphics were crap and the gameplay was just more of the same... :(
But I'm looking forward to this rehash. Hope it delivers!

Ghost-Alien: is it wrong?

Ah, poor loveless spambot. May you hook up with the tall, dark and handsome toaster oven of your dreams soon enough.

Website updated with the new teaser .
All these teasers are nice but I need to see gameplay dammit.
Mc Gee is not a legend of the game world, he is a designer who has had one sucessful game in Alice, and then a series of flops. And even Alice was not a gigantic hit.
I really liked Alice, but thought McGee's work since has sucked, which give credence to the rumors that it was the other people who worked on Alice who made that game work.
Release date : June 14 for PC, 360 and PS3.
Game engine : Unreal Engine 3

You miss out on the voices and music though, which in my opinion is a great part of the experience.

Have you ever heard about Doom? ;)
American McGee was a level designer of this game.
System requirements:

Operating system: Windows 7 SP1, Windows Vista with SP2, Windows XP with SP3

Processor: Intel Core2 Duo (or equivalent) running at 1.60GHz or greater; AMD Athlon X2 (or equivalent) running at 1.60GHz or greater.

Memory: 2048MB or greater

Hard Disk Space: 8.5 GB

Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 256MB or ATI Radeon X1650 256MB or greater*

Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible

* Please note that NVIDIA GeForce 8400, 9400, 210; ATI Radeon HD 2400, HD 3200, HD 4300 as well as integrated versions of supported chipsets are below minimum system requirements

Unreal 3 engine

Stupid me originally thought they were talking about desktop ATI cards with the * but then I look back and realize, a HD3650 (though it's not a great card) easily beats an X1650. Oh, it's about mobility versions.

What a pity that American McGee's Alice is owned by EA and EA will never be on G... wait, what? EA is on GOG?! 25 games? And that includes ...?

I doubt Alice will be here anytime soon since they are using the remastered version as a way to get people to buy Madness Returns.

Good thing is the original disc versions works fine right out of the box.
