cogadh: I couldn't agree more. However, if you look at American McGee's current project,
Grimm, it retains that "rough around the edges" feel of Alice while still being a very polished game. If he can maintain that kind of quality in an Alice sequel (assuming he is actually involved in the design and not involved in name only), he could just pull it off.
I heard that American McGee has been given full creative freedom on the entire project, so if it fails it will be down to him and not a publisher trying to throw it out the door.
For those that have played alice and grimm, was alice in your opinion better then grimm for gameplay? I have only played grimm and to be honest I was very underwhelmed with it.
It had a nice gimmick but thats pretty much all the game was.
