This deserves its own thread, in my opinion.

So I assume the titles on xbox didn't count?
As I said in the Kickstarter thread, I honestly can't understand why would anyone want to see the first Larry game remade yet again.

QC: So I assume the titles on xbox didn't count?
Those titles had nothing to do with Al Lowe. They were terrible money-grabs from people who had no idea what franchise they were dealing with.
The rights are back where they belong now.
It's interesting enough for me to throw down 25 bucks on it, but not much more.
This brought/put a smile on/to my face. Wish i could back it up.;)
Though a third remake is kinda weird, a new game would be much cooler.
In any case, I've seen the games but never played them. Two titles and they look like they need a month of non-stop patience and trying to exhaust every single possible option, considering that you have to actually type in your actions. I know there were a couple after but I've no idea how much it's changed, or what the new one is going to end up like. Regardless, I don't care enough for the series to see it return in any form.
500 grand? for a remake?
I remember when they said they were bringing LSL to GOG last year.

new game - hell yeah, but second remake?
This is the first kickstarter project I am actually interested in. Sadly, I won't be able to give much.

I remember when I said GOG won't get LSL4.

Seems I might have been wrong.
I'm actually more interesred in seeing remade versions of Larry 2 and 3, but I assume they need Larry1 to be a hit before those happen.
If he had done this as actually making 4, a new game, that would have generated a lot of hype and stories about them skipping that number before.

Remaking the first game is kind of lame though, especially for half a million.

Meh.
