I never understood why people dislike Lord British that they want to kill him so much in every game?
I tried doing it in Ultima 4 even using Mondain's Skull to kill everything and he still lived then I attempted to fight him. I was completely caped in Level 8 with the strongest weapon and armor in the entire game and he did not die and I hit him 50 times and he did not falter. He took awhile to kill me though because I was ridiculously strong. Probably took more than 100 turns.
Elmofongo: Did it and it worked and Lord British did gave me the quest. Lets hope he still does after I do another attempt because I died and did not saved.
Controls are a bit off though. I cannot get chests simply by moving foward to them. Do I press a button when I am near them in this version?
RWarehall: Yeah, would be nice if Enter worked, for chests you need to move through them, as the appear ahead of you.
Although for all I know there may be a command key for grabbing them as well.
Does not help that manual that came with this game is for the original Apple version.
