OOC: No worries Stoic. I've a feeling this will be really cool!

OOC: Thanks. I wanted to write up a few scenarios based on the choices you make.

Your Vasar guide was the first to break through the door, the rest were behind him except Exile who was crawling through the window.

You see a series of faces, too many to count as first. One man sits on a wooden rocking chair next to a roaring fireplace, sharpening a shortsword.

Before you can engage the enemies, the Guide spins around and utters an ancient spell, "Kwaxa Voooooothaga Ascsclaim-ar!" he screams.

Before you have time to act, you are trapped behind a wall of energy, prohibiting your movement in any direction. You can speak, but do little else.

The Guide flips back his cloak and his voice changes considerably.

"Well, well, well... Kemuel, we meet again. What, do you not recognize me? 'Tis such a pity that your pesky little guild is too poor to hire a diviner, or even a spy for that matter... perhaps you would have recognized me!

"You escaped my little trap last time, but this time it I've made some, heh, friends," he says, pointing to the men lining up behind him.

OOC: Anyone may speak, but no actions as you are trapped behind the energy wall.

Kemuel looked at the speaker through narrowed, aggressive eyes.

"Who the devil are you? And are you that much of a coward that you won't face us in honourable combat?"

"Do you not remember me from the dungeon, Kemuel?" asks the Vasar. "Oh, I look different, yes, for this is not my body. If it helps you sleep well at night, rest assured that this Vasar," he says, sneering, "had the best of intentions. Fortunately, his mind was weak, so it now belongs to me!"

"Honor," he growls, "of what need is there for honor? Power is the greatest honor! Honor is empty, and so are you," he shouts, kicking an empty wine glass on the floor in your direction, "for you have known NOTHING of power!"

"Now be silent, there shall be time for us to settle our differences. But for now," he says, "I believe this man has a score to settle with one of your number."

The force-field shifts, so that Exile is left alone behind a wall of energy with one Vasar male, the one who was sharpening his shortsword by the fire.

The man rises with a chuckle, flipping back the hood on his cape and smiling keenly in Exile's direction.

"Do you remember me, Deep Shadow? You are a man of many identities, as am I... you may remember me as "The Blue Hand," but now I go by the name 'Fox.' Surprised to see me?"

He charges in Exile's direction, brandishing his shortsword.

OOC: A private combat has begun between Exile and Fox. Exile, you may act now.

Lucas, Kemuel and Juma are stuck behind the forcefield. They have attempted to aid Exile, but they cannot. However, you can speak and initiate non-combat abilities (such as concentration, etc.), in the mean time and feel free to shout reproaches at Fox or "The Guide" or cheer for Exile! Or you can even try to break through the forcefield, but I'm not sure you'll be able to do that.

"Fox, you will regret provoking Exile! Show him why you're reveared my brother!"

Kemuel tried to use his Shield Slam attack on the forcefield.

"When we get out, you will certainly pay", he said, with a sneer towards the room.

Hmm.... Landeril has gone MIA. He should be back soon though.

"Come on Exile beat the living hell out of the Fox why don't you already?"

If he doesn't respond in another 24 hours or so I'll just roleplay for him until he gets back.

Exiles longsword flashed up, striking at the Fox as he growled, "Black Thief. Where is The Blue Hand?"

OOC: He *IS* the Blue Hand. Sorry for any confusion.

You can take a turn now, if you like. The only target you can attack is The Blue Hand, though.

Exile unleashed a fireball at the blue hand.

OOC: Sorry for all the delays.

The fireball rips through him, causing 13 damage!

Fox responds with a slice across Exile's neck for 9 damage!

Kemuel's shield slam has begun to break down the barrier!

Anyone can act, but the barrier is still in place right now, so only Exile can attack Fox.

Fox: 37/50

Sensing his attack may have been successful, Kemuel drew his Longsword and tried to carve a swathe horizontally through the barrier. Even if it failed to fully penetrate, perhaps it would weaken the barrier further.
