Major Objective: Along with a gang of thieves, the government of Endirum is preying upon its people, reducing them to abject poverty. Arrest the leader of the gang/government to send a symbolic message to the people of Endirum: it is time to resist these tyrants. (100 XP, 200 gold for each who completes)

Minor Objective: Obtain the Crystal Rock of Endirum and return it to Northport. (50 XP, 100 gold for each who completes)

Briefing: The guild has voted to help end the reign of tyranny in the Vasar port called Endirum. We cannot overthrow their government, for we do not have the manpower but we believe we can assist by capturing their leader.

We have an anonymous contact in the docks district. He claims to be part of the rebellion and believes he can help you locate the tyrant. His specific location has been marked on your map (OOC: my instructions will lead you to him).

If the rebels should ever overthrow the government, we think we will be able to rely on their aid in the future. A stable and free Endirum should be of great help to the guild.

As a minor objective, the guild would like you to steal an item called the Crystal Rock of Endirum. We believe that the capture of the tyrant can lead you to this valuable. In appearance, it is similar to a glass ball and weighs twenty five pounds. You should know it when you see it. For now, the reason that we require the Crystal Rock shall remain classified.

MrWilli: I am in I guess unless a newbie wants in.
OOC: I don't think that will be the case, so I'll add you on.

However, if anyone newer than you wants to get in, I'll put you on the backup list.

You have some gold and skill points to spend, if you want. So check out: HERE.

Sure, done!

If anyone else wants to pick skills, please check out your character sheet and see if you have any points available (where it says Points Spent/Available the first number is how many points you have spent, the 2nd number is how many points you can spend (maximum), so the difference between these 2 numbers is the amount of points you have to spend right now if you want.

Also, check out your character sheet (listed on post 1) and see if you want to sell anything, and check out the merchants and see if you want to buy anything (lots of new stuff!). You can tell how much gold you have to spend on your character sheet (post 1).

Link to merchants.

Finally, if I recall, Kemuel, you might want to bring that potion in for a reward (but you can hold on to it instead, if you like).

Upon being presented with the potion, Gallop threw his arms into the air in elation. The Nog darts from behind his counter to hug you, due to his diminutive size, he instead grabs on to you around the knees.

After that awkward moment, you step back and raise an eyebrow in his direction.

"This is wonderful," he says, voice trembling, "you have done a great service for the guild, this will help us all! Now the bad news first: your reward is going to take some time to, how shall we say, surface. I won't have it until you begin your next assignment.

"The good news? I can't wait to see the look on your face when you find out what it is! You're going to love," he says, stopping himself abruptly mid-sentence, "you're going to love it! I promise! It will be perfect for you! Come back before your next assignment, OK?"

Landeril: ooc: do I need to send you anything Stoic?
OOC: Not really. You don't have any skill points to spend. You do have a lot of stuff you could theoretically sell. If you want to, just let me know.

You only have 80 gold at the moment so that wouldn't buy too much, but feel free to check out the shops in the merchant section of the forum.

OOC: Will PM.
Momentarily thrown by the affection and jubilation shown by Gallop, Kemuel crouched down so he was level with him and shook his hand, as was his manner.

"Thank you, Gallop. This sounds particularly intriguing!"

Smiling at the Nog, Kemuel returned to his preparations for the quest.
OOC: Can I please buy the Basic Round Shield from Dorian? And then may I attach the Shield Seal that Kemuel found to it please.

Also, how much would you offer for Kemuel's Shortbow?

EDIT: Sorry, if it hasn't already been done, could I equip the Amulet and also this shield please!

Can I ask, does it free up spaces in a character's inventory if they equip items?
