JudasIscariot: OOC: Stoic, expect the unexpected with a Polish dude playing in your game. :P Besides, I am trying to see if we can break Miken's bonds by using mercy for a fellow being as a factor. I know if I was an eternal entity left behind in a dungeon I would want someone to get me the hell out of there. I also like testing the boundaries of a DM :D.

Landeril: OOC: Stoic. I just thought of this Quests "reward" PM?
OOC: you are not getting my Djinn! He's part of my collection :P

OOC: admit it, you like the challenge of the Black Brigade, well Lewendor ,to be exact, making off with the Djinn :P. Also, can we move on now or are we waiting for someone to make the next move?
OOC: I'm ready whenever everyone else is. Do we need to investigate some more? Also, welcome Exile to the Black Brigade *shakes hand*

OOC: I'm not IN the Brigade, I'm helping it. I'm the Captain of Team Wanderer, Your soon-to-be allies. You would be the Berserker right?
The Ringmaster has received the P'Zec from Lewendor.

Ringmaster: Interesting coins. Tell you what, I've got contacts and I can possibly get this converted to some good ol' gold coins. You bring Miken in alive, I'll give you 100% of it. If he dies, I'll still give you the gold, but I'm going to charge you a 25% exchange fee. Got it?

OOC: So far we know:

1. Miken has not returned to his hideout.
2. The Gobblers have information which may be of use to you, but require a favor.

So at this point, I would say, either you can go do that favor for the Gobblers and hope their info pays off or you can go any other route you want.

OOC: Yes, he's actually one of the Wanderers. He's just joining to help you out in this quest... he kinda got sucked into it when he was (mistakenly) abducted by the Ringmaster. But, he could prove useful in gaining the support of the Wanderers.

OOC: Love the challenge. You are all here and ready to make the next move. You now have a party of 5: the three of you, Exile and the Djinn. The Djinn has no direct combat abilities and so won't be moved on the map, but he will occasionally lend a hand if he sees fit.

(They are pretty independent spirits, you can't really order them around. Unless, of course, you're their master.)

OOC: I believe we should do the Gobblers a favor but first...

IC: Xirdneh questions all the members of Division C and Division D about everything that happened while they were on guard duty (including if anyone left their post and how long they were gone).

Exile keeps an eye on Xirdneh, already disapproving of the cost. He glanced around as the Berserker questioned the Gobblers, keeping an eye on any subtle movements that would indicate lying
Hedron the Bold and Roe the Stubborn take it upon themselves to speak for their respective divisions.

The story offered by both divisions more or less correlates: both claim to have experienced the sensation of light headedness, the slowing and bending of time around them, and a general feeling of unease.

None report having encountered any intruders, nor was there evidence of a fight. The cell was not broken in any way, indicating that the keys were used. The keys were not in possession of any of the 6, rather on a wall some 10 yards from the cell.

After the break out, the keys were located near the entrance to the Guild Hall.

Interpretation of the events varies: Roe believes powerful magic was at work, Hedron is more apt to blame a highly trained team of operatives - and believes that they were drugged.

No evidence exists to support either theory over the other.

OOC: The Gobblers are far away. Jack has been given a small quest to fulfill on their behalf. If he does so, they have promised information. But, you must first fulfill their requests before doing so.

Are you ready to take up their quest? Or would you prefer to try something else?

(Reminder: The Quest involves filling a bag that they have given to Jack with "yummy yummy," a food with the consistency of a cake, grown by "The Swamp Monsters."

Upon hearing the words of both soldiers, Exile turned to the Black Brigade, speaking in a low tone, "Something happened here and I don't think such a simple solution would explain it."

Quietly, Exile moved from the others, towards the gate, about the spot a guard would stand and knelt, beginning to examine the ground, seeking any traces of taint, such as foot prints. "Man. I wish Elk was here. He'd be able to puzzle this out."

OOC:

As soon as you're already, you can go get the yummy yummy. God, I feel stupid saying that.
Just give the go ahead, and we'll get started.

Course, you're free to do any of the other things listed in the initial suggestions as well. That's up to you.

IC:

Jack starts to speak with the Djinn:

"Almighty Djinn, would it be considered an abuse of you and your powers if I could ask you for some yummy yummy? I need some for my Gobbler friends."

Yes, Jack is a right lazy bastard. If it was possible, he would wish that the yummy yummy would actually walk to him instead of the other way around. 'If the the Djinn is not going to cooperate, I'll have to think of something else..' he mused to himself while carefully slipping a few aces up his sleeve for the next poker game.

OOC: I agree with Exile that something is going on here. I'm ready to go on the gobblers quest if Jack wants to. I believe Jack should lead the team. He took over Lewendor's character and I'm not much of a leader (I attack first and ask questions later). The gobblers information could be helpful but it could also be useless.

IC: Xirdneh approaches the RIngmaster "Do you know what the Swamp Monsters are? Or what gobblers call the "yummy yummy"? The gobblers may have some valuable information but they want the "yummy yummy" from the "Swamp Monsters."
