stoicsentry: OOC: So if someone on the team would like to finish RPing Lewendor's encounter with the Djinn, feel welcome.
Landeril: OOC: Stoic PM Me, I had an idea
IC:
The dripping of blood could be heard as Exile struggled to his feet, spitting out a bit of blood. The Ringmaster had summoned him to play a game, and play he had.
Before him, laying in a pool of blood, was the other "contestant", a large black wolf-hound that had been forced to attack him. The creature had done him very little harm, beyond the bite to his left arm, but it had left an impression.
And a very unhappy Exile. The Ringmaster had thought he would break, and betray his team, The Wanderers, but a captain never broke, and now, standing with the wolf hounds blood bathing his body and steel, the Warrior stepped forward, into the corridor and directly into the path of two others.
"Halt." The Warrior brought his longsword up, "Who do you be? More here to kill me?" He growled weakly, blinking a few times.
OOC: I will accept this as canon, with the caveat that the hound had killed another man and his continued existence threatened more bloodshed. Since he also considered Exile a threat, he figured two birds, one stone. The Ringmaster is weird, has values outside the social norms, and is a little bit eccentric... but at the same time, he is not a full-blown psychopath or a pure villain.
Also OOC: anyone can answer the Djinn's riddle within 24 hours, if they don't, I'll return Lewendor to the city, having lost 5 more HP.
The hound did 6 damage to Exile. His HP is now 47. (Yes, believe it or not, it was 53).
