Krog: "What is yummy yummy! Hahahaha, person people doesn't know how to eat right! Swamp monsters no longer like to trade. Say we have no good stuff!

The crowd bursts out again, "GOT GOOD STUFF! GOT GOOD STUFF!"

Krog waves his arm, silencing them another time.

"We got good stuff for you, you get good stuff for us. Swamp monsters grow the yummy yummies here." [Krog hands you a map indicating the location and a worn down backpack.]

"Yummy yummies are round, look like cake. Grow in swamp water. You fill up bag, we give you information. Deal?"

"Deal. How soon do you want them? And can you tell me abit more about these swamp monsters?" asks Jack while peering over the map. He slid the backpack on one shoulder.
I will collect the map, search closely for any sort of secret rooms/passageways/storage, then I'll ask the Djinn who has been in the hideout since we last left.

Finally I'll raid the place for anything of value that we can either use or sell. May as well try to make some money on this adventure.

OOC: just watch out for those damned riddles :P
"WANT THEM NOW, WANT THEM NOW!"

Krog: "They're getting a little restless," he whispers, "but person people can take his time. Whenever you have them, we will be waiting.

'Swamp monsters look like person people, if person people were crocodile. Usually they not so bad, but they not cooperate lately with us. They are warrior kind of person peoples, very strong. Is possible to negotiate deal if you have something they like, otherwise, have to just take it. You need to know anything else?"

"Well...what do swamp monsters like? And do those yummy yummys taste good to a person people? Getting kind of hungry here". Jack stomach has been doing some grumbling since his fruitless observation of the cave.

Jack will also have to go back and grab his allies once they are done with their business because this sounds quite dangerous. And he still needs to ceremoniously steal 2 gold coins from Xir just to let him know he still cares.
OOC: Twist Bone acting up, Must watch and enjoy the show!
Krog: Told you! Swamp monsters look like person people if person people were big crocodile! Walk upright, but crocodile head!

I think yummy will taste good to person people, taste good to anyone really!

Jack has returned to the city and is meeting up with Xir.

Jack thinks to himself 'All I wanted to know is what they like ah well. Maybe a live chicken or two will be a good opening for any possible negotiations..if it's at all possible to negotiate with upright alligators...'
Lewendor searched Miken's dungeon thoroughly, and found nothing, save for one secret passage in the cellar to a secret stash of loot. A chest here contains an enormous amount of P'Zec, an ancient currency. So much so, in fact, that Lewendor could barely carry it all... but he has just enough room to fit it in. It is of little use to you, but if you succeed in this quest, the Ringmaster would gladly convert it to a heaping pile of gold using his secret contacts.

Djinn: Answerrrrr anotherrr riddle humaaaaaaan and you shall know what it is you want to know. Fail and you shall sufferrrr the penalty. (-1 HP for each incorrect guess, -1 HP to choose a new riddle)

"I am at the end and the beginning, sometimes I charge a fee
You may need wood to see me, or I may exist only mentally.

What am I?"

OOC: Sorry, I misread. Conveniently, the Gobblers happen to be stupid.

[The Swamp Monsters like shiny things. P'Zec might be one of them, but on the other hand, you might want to keep it for the gold.]

OOC: Did I ever mention that Jack happens to gain more speed at the thought of gold and shiny? No?? Also, is this P'Zec made of coins? Do these swamp monsters know the value of them or do they really like shiny things? We could just give out a coin at a time depending on how many monsters we have to deal with...

OOC: P'Zec is coin, it's just not a coin that anyone really accepts, more of a collector's item.

So far we only know that they like shiny things. Potentially, value might not be an issue. So you could, for example, check in at the guild hall to see if you can buy a worthless but shiny trinket off one of the Brigade members there.
Bumping just in case it got buried.

stoicsentry: Bumping just in case it got buried.
Meanwhile, Jack is still waiting in the guildhall for his team mates. Xir is still knocking helmets with Roe, if the clanging heard from a far off place is to be considered evidence of suck activities.

'It's been 3 days now. Has it been that long for the both of them?', he mused to himself.
OOC: Still banging my head against this riddle... I know it's something easy I'm missing. :p
