He grunts, calling to his arts, trying to absorb the shock for his friends.

MrWilli: "Here goes nothing," Lucas said before entering 1,2,4.
The panel zaps you once for 1 HP, then once again!

-Exile was shocked two times when entering 1,8,6 (One number was in the correct place.
-Exile was shocked three times when entering 2,4,8 (No numbers correct.)
-Lucas was shocked two times when entering 1,2,4. (One number was in the correct place.)

The panel zaps you each for another 1 HP! Watch out!

HP Update

Lucas: 31/60
Exile: 87/100
Leh: 74/100

Will our brave heroes get the numbers in time? Stay tuned!
"Well we know one now," Lucas said, "And eight or four isn't in it. Let see. Maybe 102?"

He slide the panels down getting ready for another shocking.

The panel zaps you three more times! Apparently, none of those numbers were in the correct place. (It is not shocking you for the total amount of wrong numbers, but the total amount of numbers that are in the wrong position!)

-Exile was shocked two times when entering 1,8,6 (One number was in the correct place.
-Exile was shocked three times when entering 2,4,8 (No numbers in the correct place.)
-Lucas was shocked two times when entering 1,2,4. (One number was in the correct place.)
-Lucas was shocked three times when entering 1,0,2. (No numbers in the correct place.)

HP Update

Lucas: 28/60
Exile: 87/100
Leh: 74/100

OOC: Bet you all didn't think that numbers might be the death of you.

OOC: What? So wait one isn't in the right position? But 1,8,6 and 1,2,4 had one number in the correct position and both had one number in common: one. So wouldn't imply that one is in the right position.

OOC: Apparently not. It means that the second number is either 8 or 2, and the third number is either 6 or 4. And now we've learned that the first number is not 1.

We're getting there..hehe

OOC: Talk about a mind screw.

"Eh well let me see," Lucas did some quick calculations before drinking a potion. "326 maybe?" before slding down the the 3, 2, and 6 panels.

You enter the numbers 3, 2 and 6 upon the panel. The door slides open gently, and you, Exile and Leh Dzebo shuffle inside.

You plant the document with relative ease and make your getaway.

Upon returning to Northbrook, you sell the gem you received from Ruk, and split a hefty fortune of 600 gold, 6 ways (100 gold each.)

Kemuel returns to camp a few days later, and you return the 2nd gem to his barbarian escorts.

"Some day," says Kemuel, "I'll tell you all about my captivity. Perhaps upon our next trip to Hammerhall. In the mean time, thank you for all you have done. The remainder of my order has been set free as well, thanks to you."

Lucas gained 235 XP.
Leh gained 227 XP.
Exile gained 213 XP.
Kamelion gained 159 XP.
Zaranak gained 159 XP.
Jack gained 159 XP.

I will update everyone's character for experience. Reminder, to continue on in the new format, you have to pick a class. (If you want to look again, here's the list.)

(Exile and Lucas have done so already. I'm assuming, Kamelion, that you want to pick Druid. If not, let me know.)

I apologize that this quest did not quite work out as intended. The extreme length and the size of the party were a bit too much. But I think you all will like the new format. :)

OOC: Hah I knew it! It was just that 1 that was screwing me up. Basically 6 was the constant and 1,2,4,8,16, and 32 were just doubling!

Yep, pretty much. Formula is (previous number) -3 * 2

Were you going to pick the Knight class? Just making sure.

MrWilli: Yes.
Great. I'm updating your character now. I think we'll begin registering for the next quest today. I think the new format will be smoother.

Congratulations on your victory!

XP has been added and levels gained. No need to pick any field to put die points into because if you have not yet picked a class, you must do so to continue.

Here is the list.

You retain your character name, bio, level, XP, gold, items, weapons, etc.
