I was looking for the Airport Tycoon games, they're quite old, I think the 3rd game is from 2003 or something similar. These are not to be confused with Airline Tycoon which is a different game.

So my problem is that I haven't really been able to find them other than Amazon.com but since I live in Sweden I haven't been able to get a hold of them from amazon.com, does anyone know where to get them (abandonware by now?) or buy them, preferbly digital copy.

The first Airport Tycoon is also known as Airport Inc in Europe and here are some results from Amazon.co.uk for the first. You could try on ebay (both .com and .co.uk) for the other two, even if the prices can be expensive. Currently, there are no legal digital means to obtain the game (abandonware isn't legal, by the way).

Well, according to C|Net download web site, there was Airport Tycoon 1 and 3 avaible in digital version, but it seems the files were removed from the servers. You can check it your self here:
Global Star Software on CNet web site

The company who published the game seems to be owned by 2k Play, but sadly they removed the original website. I am sure that if you keep diggin in the web you may found a place to get a digital copy since it exist on C|Net, which makes me think that there in some place, must exist another digital seller. Seek for bundles released for the company, which may be newer than the game.

Also, the game can be found in physical disc on amazon.com, as well as ebay.com, perfect places to get if you are in another country. I am from Venezuela, and is very easy get products from USA online stores because there are not so much foreign policies to make payments. On the other hand, europe sites are a pain in order to make payments because they seem to refuse foreign credit cards.

Best of lucks!

Why isn't abandonware legal, isn't the term "abandon" intended to mean that there's no exist legit owners of the product rights? *seeks for wikipedia info*

Nope. Abandonware only indicates that the current owners are not using the IP in question. That doesn't mean they have relinquished their rights to it. In fact, quite a few of GOG's games could be found in abandonware sites, before GOG started distributing them.
There are GOG wishlists for the and [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/airport_tycoon_3]third games.

Thanks for all the info people.

I do remember the game as Airport Inc. but I thought it would be easier to ask after the Tycoon name on this forum.

I thought Abandonware was semi legal, sort of like montcer9012 figured.

Also I did sign for the wish list of those two games in this series.

I'm having issues paying to American sites such as Amazon and eBay, and since only tools work at my bank, it's hard to fix it. I'll look into UK Amazon though, they seemed to be nicely priced.

Tried to post this last night and this morning with 3 different webbrowsers but all failed so that's why this post is quite chopped up

sonofagun: eBay
As I mentioned above, there is also ebay.co.uk. You sure you can't use it?

I know there is no eBay UK, hence I could use Amazon. I have tried eBay before but it keeps declining my card but I can use it in European websites.

But there is. The above link is for the UK ebay, not the American one.
Yeah my bad, I totally misread what you said my bad, I'm sorry.

I should be able to pay to eBay UK, I thought eBay UK had turned into something else sort of like eBay Sweden used to be Tradera.
