That's alright, GOG has lots of exclusives as well- Gangsters Organized Crime and Project Eden come to mind.

Doubt it since AoE series arent on GoG, unless they would put both at since but nah.

Using DRM as an excuse to download free games. It's stupid and it doesn't help the "DRM-free" movement in any possible way, it actually makes things worse because it gives publishers reasons to come up with more draconian DRM methods to stop piracy (like always-online).

Also, this falls into the "two wrongs make a right" fallacy:

Sorry, it's my fault, but every time I see a title that says "[game name] coming to GOG?", I expect to see a link to an article or similar rumour about how GOG intends to release the game; not just a baseless/hopeful question.

Honestly, this forum is like an emotional roller coaster sometimes :P

I have dozens of games I pirated just to avoid the DRM. Didn't pay a cent for them.

It's nice to be able to play any of those games for free. Rayman Legends was the most recent one. Great game, loved it. Wont pay a cent for it.


The pirates provide a better service at a lower price. If the game was DRM-free, the paid version would be the better option and on games available DRM-free I choose that.

This is just capitalism. No need to get worked up over it.

The reason this won't happen is because it's integrated with the Steam workshop I think. That means content would not be available across all distribution platforms. If it did not have that then everything would be fine, albeit less featureful.

Edit: Apparently this isn't a problem for Original Sin. So...I guess there is no good reason it's not here. ^^

The way I see it, by boycotting or pirating games with DRM, we'll eventually force the bastards to either give in or go bankrupt . What's so wrong about that ?

Besides, the way things are going, Steam's gonna be a monopoly soon. Unless we do something about it...

I could write a whole lot of text about why that doesn't work... or I could just let Jim Sterling explain it in a far more clever and entertaining way.
