BUT: it will cost a dollar only if 10 milion of people buy it. Seems rather impossible, but there is a good cause to it. If there is 10 milion purchases, 10% of the money will go to charity and everyone will get their game for $1. If not, all the money will go to charity and the game will cost a normal price.

Oh, that explains a lot. Difficult for me to give them my support if I don't even know what they're asking me. I assume my age, but how would I know? Where's the professionalism of alternate languages for us lazy Americans that only speak English? :(

It sounds like an interesting gimmick, but they're only kidding themselves if they expect to get 10 million sales. They haven't done a lot of publicity yet, which is also what troubles me about this promotion. However, they don't really seem to have a lot of info about their game with respect to system requirements or a Linux/Mac port, and that's what stopping me from buying into this.

The gameplay footage reminds me a lot of Dead Space for some reason o.O

This game looks interesting, but the pre-order system seems a little iffy. While your money does (apparently) go to charity if they fail to meet the 10 million pre-order mark, there won't be any bonus to anyone who pre-ordered aside from a one dollar discount.
By the way, from how the buy page words it, it doesn't have to be 10 million people buying, just 10 million pre-orders. One guy can pay $15 and that will count as 15 pre-orders.

I do think that is a bit of a lofty goal. Even the Humble Bundle, with its incentives to pay above the average, rarely makes more than a million.

It seems that they plan to give it away for free. If I pay to pre-order and all of that money ends up going to charity, then the developers make $0?

Also, the English translation on the site is horrible. I'd be tempted to pre-order it just to see what it's about but I'm worried that the game will be just as badly translated. That would really kill the experience for me.

They should have been a bit less optimistic. Good publicity stunt, though.

They don't even show what payments methods they offer. Just giving them your email? Yesh, I am sceptical.

So you don't get the game if they don't reach 10 million?

No, looks like everyone gets a product key for every dollar paid. So if you pay 5 USD, you'll get 5 keys. Although I don't understand that why they work for free since the 10 million USD goal is impossible to reach so they will give all the money to charity.
