Adventures in Vue is a team based fantasy roleplaying game here on the forums. You can see an example of one game here.

There are currently 3 teams of 3 characters. I am looking to add at least a 4th team and perhaps expand the rosters of each team.

If you are interested in playing Adventures in Vue, please say so here. Just give me a name for your character and pick a class: Rogue, Warrior or Mage and I will get you all set up. From there on in, you are free to customize your character as you wish.

Once signed up, you will be eligible to join games, whenever you feel you have the time. Saying you want to play isn't a guaranteed commitment. You're still free to join/not join games as you wish. It's just to have a few more players on record.

Looking to add up to 11 players.

3 added, up to 8 more to go.

How often would a player need to be available?

1. I create game threads, and let anyone who is already signed up join. So there's no requirement, really. You can be signed up, and NOT join a game if you want. It's just a matter of whether you feel like playing when there is a new game.

More seriously what about items and such? Can a player choose from a selection according to class or even bring hiw own into the game upon OP approval or are they pre-chosen after picking a class?

At level 1, you can pick from one of three weapons based on your class.

After completing a quest, you can begin buying items and/or weapons from the store if you acquired any gold, which will be constantly updated.

Additionally, during quests, there are at times options to "loot" new items/weapons and/or "upgrade" items/weapons.

Ok, great! I'm sorry I didn't make it clearer, but what basically happens is your character gets created, then you can choose to sign up for a game or not when there is a new game. So basically at this point, you haven't created a commitment, I'm just making a character sheet for you and then if you choose to play in the future, you can.

I would just need a name for your character and you have to pick a weapon to start with from the Rogue list:


1. Dagger
Damage modifier: 0 at 1 range, +4 at 0 range
Range: 1

2. Shortsword
Damage modifier: +2
Range: 1

3. Shortbow
Damage modifier: -2
Range: 2

The first bit is just a joke.......and partially now I think of it a ref to a spell/forcefield that you could cross but get damaged by in the Exile series of RPGs from Spiderweb Software.
