When the next chapter is up, we'll be about halfway through with the story. I'm hoping that some of you would like to participate in the final chapter. In one sense, I already know how it ends... but in another way, there should be a lot of opportunities to change it based on your decisions.

What I'm envisioning is a story based roleplaying thread to finish it off. You could control your character and what choices he/she makes, what skills are used when, etc. but I would act as GM explaining the results of your choices, controlling NPCs, etc.

How would you all feel about that?

Well, I'm actually thinking about conducting a sequel after it is finished.

I don't like the way I set it up with the characters, I would probably want to have less than 21 next time: it's just a lot, and I would also like everyone involved to have more choices and more of an effect on the story than they currently have.

I have a way to do this, but I would have to reboot. The best way to do that would be to begin a "Volume 2" after it's over.

I honestly thought that the story would be complete in and of itself, but then a few nights ago I was brainstorming and realized that there were plenty of opportunities to continue it.

Also, the next chapter is in the process of being written. I expect it will be done by tomorrow at the latest, hopefully tonight though. :)

I think your post highlights just how much time and effort you put into this, so firstly, massive thanks for this awesome adventure you're written! That extends to everyone who's contributed, of course! :)

A Volume 2 sounds really cool! I'm just really enjoying the written RPG aspect! I'm really glad I joined in. Also, the extra choices and deeper involvement sound really intriguing. I've been wanting to play a cool RPG for a while, but didn't know where to go, but genuinely this has scratched that itch!

And sweet, can't wait for the next chapter! :D

I did have a few comments about my character in the story (Artemus Venn) that I feel a bit clashes with the background description I gave, but they are not that important, so I just ignored them.
