In case you're all wondering, I haven't forgotten about the story. Far from it. I'm working very hard on it. I know there hasn't been a chapter in 4 or 5 days, but I've been working on a lot of things... for example, making sure the final chapter is fun, intriguing and hopefully SURPRISING! :)

It will have alternate endings based on your decisions. Once I have mapped out some of the possibilities, I'll be better able to write the chapters leading up to it.


After the story "ends", you will have the option to carry over your character to continue in the next story if he's still alive. So, it isn't necessarily going to end. =)

As a bonus, I have been working on re-imagining the way characters are constructed, I have a much more fun method for doing that now.. which I think you will like.

To tease it a bit, there won't be any character classes.

Hello all!

I can't believe it's been 2 months! Wow!

Not to beat a dead horse, but since I got engaged, my fiancee hasn't given me a break from all the wedding planning.

Plus, it happens to be one of the busiest times of year at work. Ah, how I long to have the summer return...

Here's the thing: I never forgot or intended to stop doing this story, and I still don't. Just.. the time has been the issue.

Also, I have been struggling with the fact that there are 20+ characters. It just gets a tad confusing unless I have you guys to watch my back...

So, I would like to ask a question!!!

Is anyone still interested in the idea of writing this story collaboratively through role-playing?

If so, here's what I would do: I'll write one or two more chapters to get everything to a certain ending, then we can pick up from there. Details to follow. Whatdya say?


P.S. your character would retain their level, but you would have to re-constitute them a bit.
