I wanted to start a petition on here.

The petition is to ask that staff on gog.com try their hardest to get ALL violent Adult Only rated games on their site's catalogue like they did with Fahrenheit ( Indigo Prophecy ) completely uncut and uncensored...not all the 1s based jess on sex...

As there is literally like 0 other places to rely on getting them...I mean hell not even Valve with their Steam has the balls to release Fahrenheit ( Indigo Prophecy ) as the uncut/uncensored version...tho for me I cant seem to find Indigo Prophecy(the censored version) on their site now...but they have a section for it on their forums...and you can see Valve WAS selling the censored version...

Direct2Drive.com was also selling Manhunt 2 on its site previously untill Gamefly boughtem out...now Gamefly the new owners have become skared shitless and took the game off the site for buy...not only that they skrewd me a reliable customer over by not providing me now with their new site design with access to my account nor to any of my previous purchases...

So again I state this thread is ment to be a petition to convince gog.com staff that PC users in the Adult category 21+ of age would love to finely have atleast 1 place to be able to get access to any/all AO rated games...

I agree that games, especially games on GOG should be completely uncensored and the way the developers intended them to be played, so I fully support AO games on GOG. Gore, Violence, Sexual content - nothing should come between the release of games here because that's what the PC is all about: Complete freedom

and yeah, I'd love to see the AO version of Manhunt 2 here, would be very nice

Aside from Manhunt 2(was Manhunt 2 even ever released in it's AO form? I have to look that up now) are there many more games this applies to?

The only other game rated AO for violence I can think of off the top of my head is The Punisher.

If you're talking about GOG trying to get the versions of games that are "as the developer intended," then yes...I agree (although it's likely that I won't be buying them). If you're saying that GOG should try to scoop up every AO game ever made just for the hell of it, then no...I really don't agree.

Yes, I'd rather not see hentai games on GOG, which I'm pretty sure would never happen anyway.

I'll take a sign on this mostly because from what I'm reading your just wanting them to get some games and leave them the way they were made to be. I'm pretty much against censorship so I got no issue with this idea.

Yes... a rather unclassy move, in my opinion. Kind of undermines the whole "we're using sex and nudity in a mature way" thing. But I haven't actually played either of the games for myself, so I really shouldn't judge.

Yes. I'm kinda purist. Just like music, i don't like my music tampered with 3rd party dsp or equalizer. So i would love my video games 100% to developers intended them to be played. I think so far, there are no censored version game on GOG catalogue except for Witcher 2 (AU).

All games are violent and.. wait what, I bought fahrenheit some time ago.. is it some cencored thing? I mean, what's the big deal if we see tits or something?
No dice.. I support that games come here with a soundtrack and uncensored.
I mean.. (I know that I refer some movies now) Did anybody see bladerunners american ending.. that where they are driving somewhere. WTF. That was shite. Also.. There was same situation in evil dead 2 ending. If I recall right.

Well, as many people have said before, "sex sells." And I suppose I can't blame them for using a tried-and-true method of marketing their game to a male audience. Still, the artistic side of me takes issue with it.
