Oh, I do hope that now that we have Painkiller on GOG we can have the game's soundtrack. What GOG needs is more heavy metal :)

Zombus: I'm totally agreeing with you on this one. ;)
One major reason I take into consideration whether to buy a game or not is actually the existence of a soundtrack as an addition ...

That is sadly out of our hands sometimes, as we have to ask permission to distribute such additions and sometimes we don't get permission as the copyright belongs to someone else.
You'll have to wait to see what the Product Team can get permission to release - let's hope there will be some good news on this front :)

many a great game or film is made greater by a good soundtrack, and all the best ones can be listened to outside the game... I listen to several soundtracks meself. Course, I am a colossal geek, so yeah.
