HijacK: Is it just me or some people just live under a rock? You'd think everyone would've known by now that GOG is 100% FUCKING DRM FREE! A quick google search would give you more than enough information and tell you that GOG does not sell Steam keys. Nobody needs another Gamer's Gate or Green Man Gaming. The Steam key DD services flood the market.
Edit: And freaking spell your name right. That's not how you spell it.
whooaa, easy there. He just registered here. no more caffeine tonight, k? :)Edit: And freaking spell your name right. That's not how you spell it.

MaxFulvus: There is no Steam key provided with GOG games, but I think you can add a GOG game to your Steam account with the function "Add a non-Steam game to my library" (never tried it myself btw).
It works most of the time. I can't remember having been able to launch any Dosbox game, and I think I had a problem with something else as well, but it's still nice to have them on the list to remind me of what I've got installed. Also, you may want to shut down Steam manually before powering down your PC (instead of letting the shutdown procedure take care of everything) to prevent your non-Steam games from being deleted from the list. It happened completely randomly to me a few times, and it may have been fixed by now, but better safe than sorry. You get used to it very quickly anyway.

nightrunner227: Someone wake up on the wrong side of the rock? Some people are new to digital distribution, or have only dealt with Steam. For a very large amount of the gaming population, Origin, Steamm, and Uplay are the "big names" that sell their own games. To such people, every other digital distributor they've been in contact with have likely been little more than Steam key sellers. Hell, even Uplay sells steam keys. Digital distributors are nothing like car companies which sell only what they produce.
Well you certainly did if you think Uplay is a big name. And let me say it again, GOG is no longer a new dog on the block. It's a way bigger than Uplay. As for being new to digital distribution, tell me again how you would go to a only car dealership and request a motorcycle. As far as I'm concerned, it's the lack of common sense. The Terms of Use on the main page state among the first lines that GOG is a DD service where you can purchase and download. I know in Detroit they say only losers buy imports.
