Are any games using the AD&D ruleset still being made? I have noticed that AD&D games are very well made and intensely more fun compared to D&D games. For instance, I still think of the SSI series, Ultima I-IV, and the Bauldur's Gate series. Neverwinter Nights never really did it for me. Now that I think of it, "The Witcher" and "Dragon's Age: Origins" are pretty well made. OK, maybe AD&D isn't the end-all, but I can't ignore the fact that AD&D games tend to fare better than D&D games.
Secondly, does anyone other than me remember "Modem Wars?" That game was AMAZING, I swear! That game rocked my world, and it's sad that nobody remembers it and it will probably not be re-made for modern machines. The author of this game died at the turn of the century, so maybe that's why the game went into obscurity?
Even though nobody other than me remembers Modem Wars, I swear it existed and was technologically advanced for the 1980's.
