The fact that this is game-breaking is news to me. I'll follow-up with the test guys on Monday about this.

I haven't played Antara myself so I can't say for sure but several posts on the forums suggest that it is: some agreed, noone objected, that's what got me worried. Thanks for looking into it, especially since I'm now a proud owner of the BaK pack, too! ;)

GameRager: Seriously? Because I just got the BAK Pack(already had gotten Return to Krondor earlier, and already owned VtM:Redemption(a game which I LOVE TO DEATH(lol) but never finished(Got to the first daylight as vampire sequence with all the shaodws you have to navigate through.).....so I got BAK Pack.
Like I said, no guarantees, but I'm suspicious. Check the links in my previous post and see for yourself. In any case, BaK should work fine, the issues seem to be related to BiA only and apparantly GOG is working on fixing them.

just bought arcanum!

Ric1987: I'm considering Betrayal and Redemption(how good is it compared to Bloodlines anyway?). I already have Arcanum.
I liked it way more than Bloodlines, way, way more. But that's because I took Bloodlines almost at day one and it was one of the games I most regretted buying at launch, it was filled with bugs and defined a whole new meaning for the word "unplayable".
Redemption "pros" are:

- very good plot in the world of The Masquerade
- a love story that involves a nun and a crusader turned vampire! :-)
- awesome gameplay, the game is party based, instead of Bloodlines being mostly a solo affair. It's still very playable and both combat and gameplay is way better than modern rpgs like Dragon Age.
- great soundtrack!
- still looks decent, at super highres, and without problems on modern systems, it was powered by the Quake 3 engine
Another great promo. Already had Arcanum. Now:

"Nice, you own all games from this promo. Have fun and don't forget to check out our next offer."
Damn backlog. And I already use that PSN down time to work on my PS3 backlog!
Maybe I should hire someone to play my GOG games?

Curse you for that PS3 joke at the end of your trailers btw., dear CD Projekt. :P

delboy2k10: I would be tempted by a 50% for all 30% on individual, that seems to work better than a flatline 30%
avatar
Vestin: You know that the de facto difference between 70% and 50% in this case is about $1, right ;) ?
$1, $100, who cares. I guess what I meant by my opinion, was that the 50% all, 30% individual sales work very well and I generally buy at least something from those sales.

I buy an awful lot from GOG and think the website and company are doing a lot of things correctly.

Recession has us all at a pinch, and I am muddling through probably better than some, but I can still voice my opinion if I Want to.

"GOG you are doing a lot of things well, and I love your sales. Sorry but this week I passed on this one as it didnt entice me like the others."

Is that line above rally bad ? Dont think so
